Although Josiah only came to the yachting industry in 2022 he has gained invaluable experience. He loves being on board and being part of a

Marija hails from Serbia but moved to Athens, Greece in 2008 and joined the yachting industry shortly thereafter. Marija enjoys working hard; has strong service, organisation and communication skills; and she is accustomed and comfortable providing a high level of service to all guests. She is very disciplined, strict and organized as a leader and enjoys training others who are new to the industry to a very high standard. Marija has gained vast experience working on privately owned and busy charter yachts.

“Fitz” joined Solandge as one of our Second Engineers shortly after build before moving on to take up the role as rotational Chief Engineer. He began his career in The British Royal Navy where he worked on Naval Destroyers, following this he has spent over 12 years working as a chief engineer on various yachts. With over 22 years as a Marine Engineer and holding his Y1 Certificate, he is well experienced and equipped to work as part of an engineering team where he ensures guests receive a trouble-free trip. In his personal life Fitz is married with three children, two of which are identical twins. He spends his time away from the yacht with his family in England. A friendly and amiable person, Fitz is popular with crew and guests alike.

Joanna is a compassionate and dedicated senior Beautician / Masseuse with over 6 years experience working with luxury beauty products and high standard equipment. Joanna’s recent experience includes working on board a 100+ superyacht where she provided luxury spa experiences and carried out treatments on VIPs. Joanna enjoys keeping fit in her spare time.

Gerolou came to the yachting industry in 2017 having had previous experience on board river cruisers and cruise liners and also restaurant experience on land. He is always looking to enhance his professional skills, capabilities and knowledge in an organisation which recognises the value of hard work. Gerolou’s skills also include sewing, baking, cooking, pastry making, cake artistry, table setting and flower arrangements.

Jana hails from the Western Cape of South Africa and brings her passion for floristry to the team on Solandge. Jana’s high service standards and background in event planning, along with her last 3+ years working on superyachts where guest satisfaction is a top priority make Jana a great fit onboard Solandge.

Vera came to yachting in 2015 and has accumulated experience and knowledge since that time working on private yachts ranging from 65m to 123m.
Vera is a positive person with a bright personality. She is a dedicated worker who possesses common sense, level-headedness and good organization skills. She loves to lead by example with a keanness to pass her knowledge on to junior crew. Vera leads a healthy lifestyle and enjoys keeping fit.

Lauren hails from England and started her career in the hospitality sector in the UK. She then trained and worked as a pharmacy technician before making the switch to join the yachting industry. She has gained experience on a number of busy yachts before Solandge and she is looking forward to offering her exceptional service to guests onboard.

Alexis is an energetic, polite person who is able to work on her own initiative but also able to work proficiently in a team environment and is self-motivated, responsible and hard working. Alexis has a passion for housekeeping and has a keen eye for detail and understanding of high housekeeping standards in yachting. Alexis enjoys hiking, working out and exploring new places.

Michael hails from South Africa and has a great passion for the outdoors and nature. Since coming to yachting in 2020 he has gained a lot of experience working as a deckhand on board several vessels and has recently completed his Yachtmaster and is looking forward to using this newly gained knowledge and incorporating it into his job. In his downtime Michael enjoys fitness, the outdoors, fishing and music and many of his hobbies and passions revolve around social interaction.
