Built by the renowned Sanlorenzo shipyard in 2012, SOURAYA can accommodate 10-12 guests across 5 exquisite staterooms. The accommodation layout is wonderfully versatile, featuring a Owner's Suite, two double staterooms, and two twin staterooms that can convert into doubles. All staterooms come with Pullman berths and ensuite facilities, ensuring the ultimate comfort for all guests.
Designed by Francesco Paszkowski, SOURAYA’s interior spaces are both spacious and elegant. An upper salon with a bar, TV, and game table offers additional space for privacy or entertainment. Onboard WiFi, air conditioning, and state-of-the-art stabilizers further elevate the cruising experience.
Upon venturing outdoors, guests will discover a spacious sundeck, featuring a jacuzzi, built-in shower, day head, sun pads, and bar—a perfect area for relaxation and socializing with friends and family. There is also the bonus of a hydraulic swimming platform for seamless, easy access to the water.
Water sports enthusiasts will be delighted by the extensive range of toys on offer, including a jet-ski, a Seabob, a Jetboard, a pedal board, and much more. All of these amenities are complemented by an outstanding crew of 8, led by an experienced Captain.

Vasilis holds a Captain Class C’ Diploma and multiple STCW certificates for seafarers along with a diving license. He commenced a career in yachting in 1998 and has successfully worked his way up the ranks with passion for his profession and dedication. He is a hard worker who is always ready to face new challenges and ensure a safe and pleasant time on board for our guests.

Dimitris graduated high school in 2010 and later attended a nautical school. His career at sea began on a fishing vessel for two years. He later transitioned into Yachting, and since his first time on a motor yacht in 2017, he has been thrilled with the unique working environment. He holds a speed boat and a diving license and always looks forward to improving his skills and gaining extra knowledge by attending professional maritime seminars.

Dimitris Yiannarakis
Bosun
Originally from Greece, Christiana brings a warm, attentive, and professional approach to everything she does on board. With several years of yachting experience across vessels ranging from 27 to 53 metres, she takes great pride in maintaining an immaculate interior and delivering exceptional guest service. Christiana is trained in table setting, housekeeping, laundry, and cabin care, and holds a yachting qualification from the Metropolitan College IAMI. Beyond her interior skills, she also has a background in hospitality from busy seasonal venues in Mykonos, as well as knowledge of hair styling and nail care — always happy to help guests feel their very best on board. Christiana is known for her positive attitude, attention to detail, and genuine dedication to ensuring every guest has a memorable experience.

Sergios graduated from the Merchant Marine Academy in 2006 and now holds a Captain’s Class A’ diploma. In addition, Sergios is a computer expert as he has attended extensive online courses in electronics and hardware components. He holds Certificates and Diplomas from the Merchant Marine Officer’s Training Center, General Operator GMDSS, National School of Life Saving and Fire Fighting Appliances of Aspropyrgos as well as a MCA Certificate. From 1992 until 1996, Sergios served at sea as Apprentice Officer and later, from 1997 to 2002, as a 2nd and Chief Officer. In 2002 he decided to bring his knowledge and expertise in the yachting industry and has been absolutely excited since the first moment. Sergios has since served on multiple luxury motor and sailing yachts, but feels he has found his home on Souraya. Sharing the owner’s passion for the sea, he brings a sense of calm and professionalism to everyone on board. Polite and happy with a wealth of knowledge to share, he is the captain everyone is looking for.

Sergios Kakarantzas

Andreas graduated from the Marine Engineer Academy of Aspropirgos as 3rd Engineer ιν 2006 and then in 2015 he acquired the Certificate of Engineer Class A STCW 1978 III/2 (Merchant Marine Officer’s Training Center). He commenced his service at sea in 2006 on bulk carriers then moved to passenger ships and then in 2013 he transitioned to the yachting industry on board Dana a 26m Custom line Ferretti. Since then he has gained valuable experience as Chief engineer on various yachts both charter and private.

Aggelos holds a culinary arts diploma from Le Monde Institute of Hotel & Tourism Studies and has attended seminars on Sous Vide Techniques in Hotel Catering. He is the author of “A Taste of Heaven” collection of recipes book and was awarded first prize in the platinum category at the Mediterranean Yacht Show in Nafplion 2015. He also holds a speedboat operator license and STCW basic safety certificates. With 15 years of experience as a chef on large motor yachts, he is a master when it comes to customising menus to meet his guests’ desires, and this is thanks to his endless repertoire of flavours from around the world. Aggelos is a professional with passion that will offer an impeccable dining experience to our guests on board.

Vasilis has attended the National School of Life Saving and Fire Fighting Appliances and received a Certification. He began his service at sea in 1988 on board cruise ships, such as “Stella Oceanis”, “Stella Maris II” and “Stella Solaris, and in 2005 he brought his knowledge on charter motor yachts. He has been working solely on motor yachts ever since and was the Tablescaping Award winner in Category A of the Chefs' Competition during the 4th Mediterranean Yacht Show 2017. Vasilis also won the Tablescaping Award in Category A Platinum of the Chefs' Competition and the Designer Water Contest Award during the 6th Mediterranean Yacht Show 2019 in Nafplion, Greece. He is a significant member of m/y “Souraya” ensuring guests have a memorable time on board and has always managed to fulfill all expectations with punctuality and precision.
