In his early twenties, Bartul managed a beauty bar and restaurant, where he developed a natural affinity for customer service and attention to detail—traits that now enhance his interactions with guests and crew. His lifelong love of the sea led him to purchase his own 60-foot boat, giving him a strong foundation in seamanship and tender handling and ultimately inspiring him to pursue a career in yachting. Bartul began his maritime career on commercial vessels but always held a personal goal of working on board luxury yachts. Today, he has held senior engineering positions on both motor and sailing yachts, including 45m LA LA LAND. Bartul thrives in dynamic, fast-paced environments and takes great pride in keeping Spirit Of The C’s running smoothly. He especially enjoys the yacht’s frequent sailing schedule and the opportunity to discover remote and beautiful anchorages. His enthusiasm for the sea is ever-present—encountering dolphins and whales is a highlight of his daily life on board. Outside of work, Bartul is passionate about football, fishing, and watersports, and brings a calm, capable energy to every task he undertakes. Bartul is a valued member of the crew whose dedication ensures an impeccable guest experience, both behind the scenes and on deck.

With decades of experience and a deep-rooted love for the sea, Pasquale was born in the iconic coastal town of Sorrento in the 1960s and grew up surrounded by both the culinary delights of his family’s pastry shop and the natural beauty of the Mediterranean. After completing his studies at the Nautical School in 1982, Pasquale began his maritime career on commercial vessels, traveling the world and gaining skills in marine engineering systems. His curiosity and open-minded approach eventually led him to the superyacht industry, where he found not only technical challenges but also the rewarding atmosphere of life on board with crew and guests. In 2002, Pasquale briefly stepped ashore to work as a pastry chef in a Monaco restaurant, drawing on his culinary roots. He later returned to sea and has since built an impressive experience on both motor and sailing yachts, including 50m ALASKA. Pasquale is especially passionate about sailing and finds the experience of watching the yacht set its sails and heel over in the wind truly exhilarating—calling it one of the most exciting moments of his life at sea. Outside of work, Pasquale enjoys photography, diving, and walking. Colleagues describe him as patient, thoughtful, and quietly dedicated—an essential figure on board Spirit Of The C’s, ensuring that every charter runs with precision and care.

His natural adaptability and hands‑on approach have allowed him to quickly gain confidence in his role while providing consistent support to the team. With a calm and approachable personality, Josh contributes to a positive atmosphere on board, helping maintain the vessel’s high standards of presentation, safety, and service. Antonio was born in Split, Croatia and has always been around boats and sea. He passed his Marine engineer degree at the age of 18 and since then he has always been working on boats. Antonio is a certified scuba diver and boat skipper. His hobbies includes Brazilian jiu-jitsu and motorcycle.

Eunice was born in the Philippines to a Christian family serving the local church, her father being a pastor. Being the Eldest, she grew up quickly and was mature at a young age. She studied IT and graduated from the Colegio de Dagupan. She joined the yachting industry after a friend invited her to try it and never stopped for the past 6 years now. She became addicted to diving and has her open-water diving license. She is also a certified tender driver. Eunice loves to exchange with guests and loves to understand other people’s perspectives on life. She is patient, communicative and reliable. Another passion of Eunice is basketball where she founds some relaxing time playing either on at the field or on videogames!

Originally from Romania and shaped by a strong military background, Adelina previously served in the Romanian Navy on a 148‑metre warship. This early chapter of her life instilled discipline, precision, and resilience—qualities that now define her service philosophy at sea. Drawn to the dynamic rhythm of yachting and the joy of creating bespoke guest experiences, Adelina has spent the last twelve years working across a wide range of vessels, from private yachts to busy charter programs. She excels in fast‑paced environments, consistently delivering service marked by organisation, elegance, and a meticulous eye for detail. Adelina admires the beauty and character of sailing yachts. Her calm presence, strong leadership, and commitment to teamwork shape the onboard atmosphere, ensuring every guest is welcomed into a smooth, discreet, and thoughtfully orchestrated environment. Adelina has navigated extreme conditions—including hurricanes and encounters with “pirates”—experiences that reinforced her dedication to safety and guest comfort. Outside of work, she is passionate about hiking, creative writing, mindfulness, performing arts, skiing, and well‑being. Disciplined, versatile, and detail‑oriented, Adelina believes that exceptional service is always a collective effort. Jenalyn (Jen) was born in Quezon City, Philippines. She initially worked in a dermatologist clinic after graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. However, she found her true passion at sea, inspired by her brother and cousins. She started her career in the maritime industry in 2013, working on various vessels including cruise ships, expedition vessels, sailing yachts, and both charter and private motor yachts ranging from 43 meters to 142 meters. Jenalyn has held different positions, including Spa Therapist, Bar Waitress, Receptionist, Service Stewardess, Housekeeping Stewardess, and Masseuse. She is licensed in Massage Therapy. Jen joined Spirit of the C’s in June 2024 as her first sailing yacht experience. A nature lover, she is known for her positive attitude, calm demeanor, and maturity.

Bobby joined Spirit of the C’s in 2025, bringing with him a dynamic blend of hands-on experience, a positive attitude, and a deep passion for life at sea. Originally from the UK, Bobby holds a BTEC in Engineering and several maritime certifications, complementing his practical and technical approach to deck operations. Having lived and travelled in places such as New Zealand and Vietnam, Bobby has developed a strong sense of adaptability and teamwork, thriving in multicultural environments. His lifelong connection with the ocean began during childhood, spending countless hours on his family’s boat learning to fish, swim, and appreciate the sea — experiences that naturally led him to pursue a career in yachting. Before joining Spirit of the C’s, Bobby worked onboard Island Passage, where he served as Deckhand and 2nd Chef. His background in the service industry helped him gaining strong organisational skills and attention to detail, while his passion for cooking and drone photography add an extra creative touch to his onboard missions. Since joining the crew, Bobby has quickly become known for his reliability, enthusiasm, and sense of fun. He describes Spirit of the C’s as a “home away from home,” where professionalism and camaraderie go hand in hand. Outside of work, Bobby enjoys surfing, fishing, and experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen. His adventurous spirit, teamwork, and friendly nature make him a valued member of the crew and a great presence on board.

Marijo hails from a small coastal town named Sibenik, in the middle of the Adriatic sea. Surrounded by small shipyards around home, I was always playing and learning about how a boat is built. During is scholarship, he enjoyed working on yachts in built and piers. After finishing his studies, he found a job on a cruise ship and later joined the offshore industry for jack up rigs and seismic vessels where eventually he ended up to command some of the fleet. Marijo passion for sea always led him to dynamic jobs on board various boats: ferries, cargo boats, etc. In parallel with his main activity back at home, he was doing some charters for fun on board small yachts from 20 to 35 meters, because he liked yachting and sailing even more and more. It has now been more than 7 years that Marijo enjoys working on board charter yachts and joined Spirit of the C’s back in 2021.

Chef Charly Valdez, a French national with Chilean roots, joined Spirit of the C’s in May 2025, bringing with him over two decades of international culinary expertise. With a strong foundation built in luxury hospitality and fine dining, Charly has honed his skills in Michelin-starred restaurants, high-end expedition cruises on board La Compagnie du Ponant but also some of the world’s most prestigious yachts including Irisha, Plan B, and Infinity.
His cuisine is a reflection of his global experiences—refined yet creative, with a strong emphasis on seasonal, fresh, and locally sourced ingredients. Charly takes pride in offering guests an exceptional culinary journey, adapting his menus to individual preferences while ensuring a consistent five-star standard. Whether it's a Mediterranean summer or an Antarctic expedition, Charly’s versatility and precision shine through every dish.
Charly is not only a passionate chef but also a charismatic and energetic crew member who thrives in a team environment. He believes that good food is an essential part of the yachting experience, and his warm personality and collaborative spirit elevate the overall atmosphere on board. An outdoor enthusiast and self-described adventurer, he brings with him a contagious energy that perfectly complements life at sea.
