Ercan was born in Istanbul and grew up along the coast of the Bosporus Sea. He was 16 years old when he decided to become a sailor, following in his father & brother's footsteps, inspiring him to join the Nautical College in Istanbul. He started to build his carrier as a Radio Officer in the Commercial Navy in 2001. He has been in the yachting world now for over 11 years and within this time has travelled around the world many times, with both charter & private boats. He is interested in all forms of technology and enjoys diving and taking underwater photos.

Having grown up on the south coast of the UK and spending his childhood summers on or in the sea, it was a natural progression for Martin to pursue a career on the water. Fast forward 25 years, and his passion for yachting remains as strong as ever. While perhaps no longer filled with the carefree exuberance of youth, Martin ensures that everyone on board is having fun in the safest possible environment.
As Master of yachts ranging from 40-80m over the past 10 years, Martin has cultivated a warm and welcoming atmosphere. This sense of family is especially evident on board STARBURST III. He demands the highest standards from his crew, but always with a laugh and a smile. Nothing makes Captain Martin happier than receiving compliments about his team and the unforgettable experiences guests enjoy on board STARBURST III.

Born and raised in a coastal town in Croatia, Andrej has been surrounded by the sea since early childhood. Watching ships and yachts entering the harbour sparked a lifelong passion for maritime life. Coming from a family that owned a small boat, he began sailing at the age of eight and went on to participate in international sailing competitions.He started working on boats at the age of 15 and has since had jobs connected to the sea. With extensive experience on passenger vessels and motor yachts, he has sailed across the Caribbean and the Mediterranean. Currently working as a chief officer, he brings a strong maritime background, solid navigational skills, and a calm, reliable presence on board. Known for his cheerful personality and approachable nature, he is a valued team player who contributes to a positive working environment.
In his free time, he enjoys sailing recreationally and riding motorcycles.

Originally from Cape Town, South Africa, Chef Alewyn began his culinary journey in 2009, bringing his passion for exceptional food to the yachting industry. He's since gained extensive experience on high-profile vessels, consistently aiming to deliver top-tier dining. Alewyn's background includes working in high-end restaurants across Spain, Sweden, England, South Africa, and even Japan, where he was trained by a private sushi master. These diverse experiences have shaped his sophisticated approach to cooking, allowing him to create memorable meals for discerning guests on board STARBURST III. His culinary philosophy emphasises quality ingredients and precise technique. Alewyn focuses on sourcing the best seasonal produce to craft dishes that are both complex and clean, featuring bold flavours and a refined presentation.
When he's not in the galley, Alewyn maintains an active and healthy lifestyle, enjoying cycling, running, and surfing.

Anna was born in England but spent the first five years of her life in Mallorca before moving back to Surrey. She discovered the yachting industry while backpacking, after meeting someone who worked on yachts, and from that moment, she knew that a life at sea was perfect for her. A passionate traveller, Anna has solo backpacked across Europe and Southeast Asia, and she hopes to explore South America next. Her dream is to one day own a hostel somewhere warm and by the sea.
Anna looks forward to welcoming all guests with a big smile and ensuring everyone has an unforgettable time on board STARBURST III.

Georgia began her yachting career in 2019, following seven years in the hospitality industry. With a love for warm weather and being on the water, transitioning into yachting felt like the natural next step – and she’s enjoyed every moment since. She has completed four Mediterranean seasons, including one spent shoreside at a private villa. Georgia’s journey started on a 90m charter yacht and continued with two 40m new builds used for both private and charter purposes. She thrives in a close-knit crew environment and values the strong sense of camaraderie on board.
In her free time, she enjoys relaxing at the beach, spending time with family and friends, hiking, and discovering new places.

Aidan grew up in Devon, southwest England, where he began his career with an advanced apprenticeship in electrical engineering. In 2013, after a brief introduction to sailing, he saw an opportunity to move on from factory life to a more adventurous career working on yachts. Aidan went from taking responsibility for a dozen small yachts to working as the sole engineer on both motor and sailing yachts from 40-50m, working up his engineering licences and travelling the western world. Previous sailing yachts he has worked on include GHOST, PRANA & Q.
Aidan is an outdoors person, always looking for the next trail to hike, valley to cycle through, and he has more recently taken up cross-country paragliding.

Ryan has been in the yachting industry since 2022. Prior to this, he was an accomplished Regional Manager for the UK’s second-largest digital retail and distribution company. Over his 16-year career there, he led a team of more than 1,450 people across Surrey and South London. With a strong background in customer service, Ryan consistently goes above and beyond to ensure every guest experience is memorable, from first impressions to fond farewells. What he values most in life is enjoying the work he does and fostering a positive team environment; that’s why he brings humour and camaraderie to the workplace, while always maintaining a high level of professionalism. A true watersports enthusiast, Ryan loves capturing guests' moments on the water using GoPros, making sure they leave with lasting memories.
Outside of work, he enjoys skiing, playing and watching sports, hiking, and spending as much time as possible with friends – and his slightly better half (just marginally!).
