Renato Nogueira is a dedicated and motivated Portuguese deckhand with several years of experience in the yachting and nautical tourism industry. With a strong work ethic and a natural passion for the sea, Renato has developed solid hands-on experience working on both private and charter vessels, where he consistently demonstrates professionalism, reliability, and attention to detail.

Throughout his career, Renato has worked on a variety of yachts ranging from 32 to 118 feet, gaining valuable experience across all aspects of deck operations. His responsibilities have included mooring and anchoring procedures, tender driving, navigation assistance, fueling operations, provisioning, and maintaining the yacht to the highest presentation standards. He is also experienced in teak maintenance, stainless steel polishing, full vessel washdowns, and general deck upkeep, ensuring the yacht is always presented in pristine condition.

Renato has also taken part in shipyard periods, where he assisted with tasks such as anchor chain painting, sanding and painting work, zinc replacement, and general maintenance projects. This experience has given him a solid technical understanding of yacht maintenance and operations, making him a dependable and capable member of any deck team.

Highly adaptable and a strong team player, Renato thrives in dynamic charter environments and understands the importance of discretion, professionalism, and delivering a seamless guest experience. He is always willing to go the extra mile to support both crew and guests, contributing to a smooth and enjoyable atmosphere on board.

Renato holds several industry certifications including STCW, ENG1, RYA Powerboat Level 2, RYA VHF, RYA Radar, RYA Diesel Engine Course, and Yachtmaster Offshore Theory. In addition, his background as a certified Auto Mechatronics Technician provides him with valuable mechanical knowledge that supports the safe and efficient operation of the vessel.

Fluent in Portuguese and English, with additional knowledge of French, Spanish, and Italian, Renato communicates easily with international guests and crew members. Outside of yachting, he enjoys maintaining an active lifestyle through fitness, mixed martial arts, motorbikes, and spearfishing — passions that reflect his energetic personality and love for the ocean.

Ana Filipa is a dedicated hospitality professional with strong experience in guest service within international cruise environments and customer-facing roles ashore. Originally from Portugal and currently based in Palma de Mallorca, she brings a calm, reliable presence and a naturally warm service style to the interior team.

Having worked with Virgin Voyages, Ana developed excellent bar and beverage service skills in a high-volume luxury hospitality environment, preparing classic cocktails, maintaining meticulous bar mise-en-place and ensuring guests received attentive and efficient service at all times. Her ability to remain composed under pressure and maintain high standards during demanding service periods makes her a valuable asset onboard.

Prior to this, Ana managed her own café business and worked as a client advisor, experiences which strengthened her organisational abilities, leadership, and attention to detail. These roles also refined her communication skills and her ability to anticipate guest needs while maintaining discretion and professionalism.

Fluent in Portuguese, Spanish and English, Ana works comfortably within multicultural teams and thrives in structured onboard environments. Known for her strong work ethic, adaptability and positive attitude, she integrates seamlessly into crew life while consistently delivering polished guest service.

Chef Kevin Hoedt is a talented and passionate chef with strong professional experience in both fine dining restaurants and international hospitality environments. With a background in classical culinary training and pastry, Kevin developed his skills in renowned restaurants and luxury hotels, building a solid foundation in both modern and traditional cuisine.

Kevin trained at the Escola Profissional Dual in Portimão, where he obtained his professional certification in culinary arts and pastry. Since the beginning of his career, he has worked in several respected establishments across Portugal and Europe, progressively advancing through the kitchen ranks from commis to senior chef positions.

A highlight of his career includes working in a two-Michelin-star restaurant in Hamburg called BIANC, where he served as a key member of the kitchen team and worked closely alongside the head chef, gaining valuable experience in high-end gastronomy and refined presentation. He later continued to expand his international experience as Junior Sous Chef onboard Disney Cruise Line, working in the prestigious Remy restaurant.

Kevin is known for being hardworking, organised, adaptable, and highly reliable in fast-paced culinary environments. His passion for cooking, combined with strong discipline and creativity, allows him to consistently deliver high-quality dishes tailored to guest preferences.

Fluent in Portuguese, French, and English, Kevin easily communicates with international guests and crew. Outside the galley, he enjoys fishing and continues to explore new culinary techniques and flavours, constantly developing his craft and passion for gastronomy.

Captain Hugo Murta Adrião is a young and dynamic Portuguese captain with over nine years of experience in the nautical tourism and yachting industry. Having grown up surrounded by boats through his family’s nautical business Murtanáutica, Hugo developed a natural connection to the sea from an early age and brings both technical knowledge and genuine passion to every charter experience.

Hugo has captained and operated a wide range of motor yachts up to 72 feet and has extensive experience navigating the Mediterranean (specifically Spain and the Balearics) and the Portuguese coastline. Over the years he has worked both as captain and first mate on busy private and charter vessels, gaining valuable experience in guest services, yacht operations, and seamless charter management. He used to work as First mate onboard STARDUST OF MARY in 2024, he then gained experience as captain in 2025 before the owner of STARDUST OF MARY asked him to come back to captain the yacht for him.

Known for his calm demeanor, professionalism and strong work ethic, Hugo ensures that every trip runs smoothly while guests feel relaxed and well looked after on board. His background also includes solid mechanical knowledge and technical skills, allowing him to maintain vessels to a high standard and ensure safe and reliable cruising at all times.

Hugo is particularly passionate about watersports and loves creating memorable days at sea for guests — from exploring beautiful anchorages to enjoying jet skis, swimming, and other water activities. Fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese, he easily connects with an international clientele and enjoys sharing his knowledge of the coastline and hidden gems along the way.

Outside of yachting, Hugo enjoys an active lifestyle and has a strong interest in fitness and sports. His positive energy, attention to detail and genuine love for life at sea make him a fantastic captain for both relaxed family charters and adventurous days on the water.
