Fabiana, also known as Fabi, is from the windy city of Cape Town. Living between Table Mountain and the Atlantic Coast, her upbringing amidst nature sparked a deep love for the outdoors. Before sailing into the yachting world, she ascended the corporate ladder as a Human Resources Consultant. Coming from a European family of Greek and Italian descent Fabi spent many years working in her family’s restaurants, embracing the European flare. Her recent completion of her Yoga Teacher Training in Rishikesh, India reflects her passion for travel and self-discovery. Yachting became the seamless convergence of her affection for the ocean, love for all things surfing, wanderlust, and hospitality finesse, blending her diverse interests into a fulfilling career.

Chanel was born in Cape Town, South Africa, where she managed a tanning salon for three years before joining the yachting industry. During that time, she offered spray tans, curated boutique clothing for clients, and worked as a professional masseuse, specializing in Swedish and deep tissue massage. In 2023, Chanel embarked on her yachting journey and has never looked back. Since then, she has had the opportunity to travel to stunning destinations including Italy, France, Croatia, and Alaska. For her, one of the greatest perks of life at sea is meeting people from all over the world and sharing new adventures together. Chanel has a strong passion for health and wellness, recently completing her Yoga Teacher Training in South Africa. She loves all water sports, staying active, and finding balance through fitness. In her free time, she enjoys music and immersing herself in books whenever possible. With her upbeat energy and professional touch, Chanel takes pride in creating an atmosphere of comfort, positivity, and relaxation for guests onboard.

Toby grew up in Rutherglen, Australia, moving to the city of Ballarat to pursue studies in sports management. During school Toby played much social sport as possible including tennis, Australian football, golf, hockey, and water skiing. Toby was introduced by chance to the concept of yachting, meeting a yacht chef in a hostel in San Francisco in 2013, 2 years before he knew becoming a chef was the career path he would eventually go down. In 2015 he commenced commercial cookery training, moving to London in 2018 to further broaden his skills. In his spare time, Toby still enjoys playing many of the sports he did as a child, as well as following test cricket, hoping to attend matches in New Zealand, India, and South Africa one day.

Dean was born in Johannesburg, South Africa. Growing up, he represented his country at the international level in swimming, winning multiple awards for being the top swimmer of his age. Later, he worked as a PADI Scuba Instructor
Diving and Freediving Instructor at a 5-star resort. He has been instructing since 2021 and gained valuable experience teaching people from all over the world, both in the water and in the classroom, conducting training. Dean joined the yachting industry in 2022; his previous vessel was awarded the most travelled superyacht in 2024 by BOAT International, taking Dean to places such as Norway (his personal favourite), Patagonia, Mexico, and all over the USA.
In his spare time, Dean still practices and teaches diving, utilising his PADI Scuba Instructor and PADI Free Diving Instructor qualifications often.

Aimie was born in NSW Australia, spending the majority of her childhood exploring the beautiful east-coast beaches. She moved to Sydney at the age of 19, to study both architecture and interior design. Upon graduation she believed in order to become a well-rounded and knowledgeable designer you had to experience the world firsthand. This led her to commence a career in yachting in 2017, initially embarking on an extended gap year; a year that has now turned into 7 after finding the fast-paced and endlessly changing environment of yachting a perfect fit for her personality and interests. Aimie has been with the Starfire program for five years of and has visited 37 countries in that time; her favorite’s being Mexico and Morocco. Aimie has a black belt in Tae Kwon Do, has studied her Level 3 Award in Wine Knowledge, enjoys spending time travelling as far and as wide as possible, and loves educating her guests on all thing’s tequila (both the drink, and the place).

Thean grew up in Hogsback in South Africa’s Eastern Cape, studying Geology at the University of Pretoria, before discovering his true passion for cooking. He studied culinary arts and business at Aresco International Academy of Food and Wine, then spent five years working at the fine-dining restaurant Terroir on Kleine Zalze wine estate, where he built a strong foundation in classical cuisine and kitchen discipline. Thean began his yachting career in 2017 as a sous chef on a 62m yacht. Since then, he has worked on several high-profile vessels, including Flying Fox and Ahpo, and earned a third-place finish at the Chef de Concours 2024. Thean loves the creativity of his role—experimenting with flavors, designing menus, and finding innovative ways to elevate everyday ingredients. Outside the galley Thean loves spending time with his 2 nephews; sharing stories of his travels and the people he meets on yachts. He also enjoys kitesurfing, golf, padel, hiking, and mountain biking.

Jorge was born in Mazatlán, Mexico, where he attended the Merchant Navy University, studying Marine Engineering between 2016 – 2020. He has since worked on a range of offshore vessels such as Diving Support Vessels, Anchor Handling and Tuna Fishing Vessels.
Jorge has been in the private yachting industry for two years with Starfire being his second vessel. In this time, he has been lucky enough to visit both Europe and the Bahamas.
Jorge loves to exercise, play football, skateboard, read books, and play video games.

Jorge Tirado

Marchael was born in Estancia, Philippines, and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Instead of pursuing a nursing career, he helped his family run a resort on Panay Island, servicing the tourist destinations Boracay, Isla de Gigantes, and Secogon Island. He then spent a decade working in the cruise line sector, progressing from back of house, to pastry chef - eventually leaving to teach Pastry and Baking at the Far Eastern University.
He began posting and vlogging about his daily activities at university on social media platforms. One of his mentors, who worked in the yachting industry, saw his cooking skills and decided to hire him.
March has a basketball coaching license, and is involved in a youth mentoring basketball program in the Philippines – and enjoy teaching the young people both the rules of the game, and of life.

Brandon is from Trinidad and Tobago. During his early years, he was very active in school and developed a strong passion for sports, regularly playing football and cricket. His energetic and team-oriented mindset from a young age helped shape his work ethic and adaptability.
Before entering the yachting industry, Brandon worked on commercial and offshore supply vessels, where he gained valuable experience at sea and built a solid foundation in maritime operations. In 2023, he transitioned into yachting, bringing with him his hands-on experience and enthusiasm for learning.
Since joining the industry, Brandon has embraced every opportunity to grow, highlighting his career achievements as being part of an incredible crew while learning new cultures and developing a wide range of skills. Brandon’s favourite part of the job is being part of a dedicated team that consistently delivers results. He thrives in social environments, enjoying meeting new people, building connections, and creating memorable experiences both on and off the vessel.

Millie is originally from Palmerston North, New Zealand, where she studied a diploma in early childhood education, working as a Childhood Educator for children aged 6 months to 5 years. Eventually, she pivoted into working as a Nanny which allowed her to use her skills while travelling around the world.
This passion for work and travel led her to enter the yachting industry in 2023, where she spent time exploring New York and the Great Lakes of Canada. Millie would love to become a Chief Stew one day, continuing her love for teaching people in her newfound career.
When not on the boat, Millie loves to stay active doing a range of fitness activities, from playing Padel to Pilates. She is always up for exploring new destinations, restaurants, and meeting new people.
