Hendrien grew up in a small farming town in the middle of South Africa, studying a Bachelor of Education in Foundation Phase (Grades 1-3) Teaching. Her love for the ocean and travel led her to join the yachting industry in 2018, and she has never looked back.
Hendrien has worked on a range of vessels of different sizes, and she loves that every day on board brings new learning experiences, whether professional or cultural, as she interacts with different nationalities. One of her favorite aspects of yachting is the incredible friendships she has made along the way.
She has a keen interest in design and event planning, and was lucky enough to be involved in the organization of her sister’s wedding, solidifying her love for creative industries, something she hopes to pursue at a later stage in life.

Fabiana, also known as Fabi, is from the windy city of Cape Town. Living between Table Mountain and the Atlantic Coast, her upbringing amidst nature sparked a deep love for the outdoors. Before sailing into the yachting world, she ascended the corporate ladder as a Human Resources Consultant.
Coming from a European family of Greek and Italian descent Fabi spent many years working in her family’s restaurants, embracing the European flare. Her recent completion of her Yoga Teacher Training in Rishikesh, India reflects her passion for travel and self-discovery.

Heather was born in New York City, and was raised in sunny California, where she spent most of her time scuba diving and free diving. Growing up, she enjoyed traveling the world with her family where she developed a passion for photography & videography. She then attended UCLA to study Business Management & Marketing, and at the age of 21 used her marketing skills to market several brands and hotels around the globe.
In 2020, Heather discovered the yachting industry through friends. Already interested in the ocean, she did her courses and joined in early 2022. She spent some time as a videographer on a yacht in the Mediterranean. In addition, she currently holds a scuba diving certification and aspires to become a dive master.
Heather loves traveling to new destinations, trying new food and exploring different cultures.

Boats have always run in Dylan’s family. His earliest memories are of the English shipyard where his father was building a sailing catamaran. At the age of 5 his family moved aboard and sailed across the Atlantic to live in the Caribbean. Dylan childhood took place living onboard the boat on the island of St. Maarten.
He apprenticed to an electrician before moving to America to attend Stanford University for Civil Engineering. Missing the ocean, Dylan returned home to the Caribbean and quickly found his calling in yachting.
Dylan has spent 12 years onboard a variety of yachts, sailing throughout the Caribbean and Eastern United States, as well as the Mediterranean. In his free time Dylan enjoys scuba diving, snowboarding and off-road motorcycle trips.

Mark is from Bath in the UK. During his childhood he helped his dad restoring cars and renovating houses which formed his interest in engineering. After leaving school at 17 years old Mark joined the British Royal Navy in 1997 as a Marine Engineer.
During his career in the Royal Navy Mark served on a vast range of ships from aircraft carriers to patrol vessels. Advancing through the ranks and progressing with his education during his career he gained a degree in Mechanical Engineering. In 2019 he retired from the British Royal Navy after completing 22 years of service, to pursue a career as a yacht engineer.
In his spare-time he enjoys assisting with charity events, restoring classic VW cars and motorbikes, downhill mountain biking, beach fishing, home renovations, walking, and spending time with family and friends. He has a love for animals including his dogs and his Japanese Koi pond.

Jorge was born in Mazatlán, Mexico, where he attended the Merchant Navy University, studying Marine Engineering between 2016 – 2020. He has since worked on a range of offshore vessels such as Diving Support Vessels, Anchor Handling and Tuna Fishing Vessels.
Jorge has been in the private yachting industry for two years with Starfire being his second vessel. In this time, he has been lucky enough to visit both Europe and the Bahamas.
Jorge loves to exercise, play football, skateboard, read books, and play video games.

Hailing from South Africa, Jacques has had a deep-rooted passion for ocean-related activities from a young age; he is an avid surfer, diver, spearfisherman, and wakeboarder. While Jacques was growing up, his father represented South Africa in spearfishing in international competitions, introducing him to the values of self sustainability in the water early on. After initially pursuing a desk job to support himself, he took a leap of faith and transitioned into the yachting industry in his late 20s, and he has never looked back. From the start, Jacques has been dedicated to gaining as much experience as possible and completing relevant courses. Encouraged by friends who recognized his natural fit for the lifestyle, Jacques quickly became captivated by the industry, enjoying everything from boat maintenance to safety at sea and passage planning. These skills have become invaluable to him, as he dreams of owning a catamaran one day and traveling the world.

Millie is originally from Palmerston North, New Zealand, where she studied a diploma in early childhood education, working as a Childhood Educator for children aged 6 months to 5 years. Eventually she pivoted into working as a Nanny which allowed her to use her skills while travelling around the world. This passion for work and travel led her to enter the yachting industry in 2023, where she spent time exploring New York and the Great Lakes of Canada. Millie would love to become a Chief Stew one day, continuing her love for teaching people in her newfound career. When not on the boat, Millie love to stay active doing a range of fitness, from playing Padel to Pilates. She is always up for exploring new destinations, restaurants, and meeting new people.

Tom is from Portsmouth, in the UK. During his childhood he enjoyed playing sports, in particular golf, football and tennis. After leaving sixth form at 18 he joined P&O Cruises as an Engineering Officer Cadet.
During his career on cruise ships he worked on a range of vessels, most notably the world famous MV Oriana, launched in 1995. After working his way up from Cadet to Second Engineering Officer he decided to shift to the yachting industry. Before Starfire he worked on motor yachts Triple Seven, Pacific, and Lemon Tree.
In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his family, friends and dog, as well as renovating his 200 year old house.

Originating from the island of Jersey, Harry has a passion for the sea, spending as much time as possible on the water sailing, wakeboarding, and fishing. He has a degree in Navigation and Maritime Science from the University of Plymouth where he was in the Yacht Clubs first team in the European Sailing Cup and Yacht Nationals.
Harry has been working on yachts for the last 7 years and enjoys sharing his love for the sea with all onboard. He has his Officer of the Watch certificate and is a qualified sailing and powerboat instructor.
Whilst on leave Harry is a volunteer skipper for Wetwheels Jersey who take a wide variety of disabled and disadvantaged people of all ages on the water. Off the water Harry is interested in a wide variety of sports including football, rugby, and golf.
