Born and raised in Liguria, one of Italy's most celebrated sailing regions, Alessandro Ribet brings youthful energy, enthusiasm and a genuine passion for sailing to the SUD team.

Having joined SUD two years ago, Alessandro quickly became a valued crew member, supporting all aspects of yacht operations and guest service. Although SUD represents his first professional yachting position, his commitment, positive attitude and strong work ethic have enabled him to develop rapidly within the industry.

A keen sailor with a particular passion for racing, Alessandro enjoys the performance-oriented nature of SUD and thrives in the dynamic environment of a high-performance sailing yacht. His knowledge of the cruising grounds of Italy and France, combined with his attentive and approachable manner, helps ensure guests enjoy a seamless and memorable experience onboard.

Holding an Unlimited Italian Nautical Licence, Alessandro is dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of safety, professionalism and guest care. Whether assisting with sailing operations, preparing water toys, or helping guests discover the beauty of the Mediterranean, he is always ready with a smile and a willingness to help.

Together with Captain Lorenzo, Alessandro forms part of a professional and welcoming crew committed to delivering exceptional experiences aboard SUD.

Born and raised in Turin, Italy, Captain Lorenzo Muratore brings over two decades of professional yachting experience to SUD. Having worked at sea for more than 22 years, Lorenzo combines extensive sailing knowledge with a calm and professional approach that helps guests feel at ease from the moment they step onboard.

Lorenzo has been an integral part of the SUD programme for the past 12 years, a testament to the trust and long-standing relationship he has built with the owner. During this time, he has captained several generations of the owner's yachts, including the Mylius 60 SUD I, II and III, before taking the helm of the current SUD, a stunning Wally 80.

A passionate sailor at heart, Lorenzo's favourite aspect of life on the water is racing. His strong sailing background, combined with years of experience cruising throughout Italy, France and Spain, allows him to create memorable itineraries while ensuring guests enjoy the very best each destination has to offer.

Holding both an Unlimited Italian Nautical Licence and a Yachtmaster Offshore qualification, Lorenzo is dedicated to delivering a safe, seamless and enjoyable experience onboard.
