Lauren grew up surrounded by the ocean in sunny Cape Town, South Africa. Her love for travel took her from Africa to London, where she lived for a few years, traveling around the UK and Europe. Living in such diverse cities has given her a passion for people and understanding different cultures. Once she started working on superyachts, she knew she had found her dream job by combining her love of working with different cultures and travel. Best described as positive, bubbly, and incredibly empathetic, Lauren enjoys getting to know the people around her. She loves digital design and is very creative. Her favourite thing to do in a new city is to grab a pastry in a café and watch the world go by.

Andy was born and raised in Dublin, Ireland. His passion for diving led him to qualifying as a SCUBA instructor in 2017, since when he has completed more than 4000 dives. Andy has spent a total of eight years at sea sailing around the world, of which over six years have been spent onboard Sunrays. After working as a deckhand and studying in his spare time, he passed his OOW in the summer of 2021 and is now our 1st Officer onboard. He has a passion for the ocean, likes to keep fit and enjoys collecting vintage Irish Whiskeys.

Angus grew up on the coast in Perth, Western Australia. After completing high school, he had a career as a professional rugby player for the Western Force and London Wasps in the UK. After retiring early from his rugby career, he moved back to Western Australia and took up an electrical apprenticeship and was a semi-professional triathlete. Angus has a great passion for water sports such as freediving, diving, fishing and spearfishing. He is a very active individual with a keen interest for running, cycling, and swimming.

Harry grew up in Spain and moved to England to pursue a career in cooking. He spent 12 years working in some highly acclaimed restaurants in and around London but then decided it was time to change paths and try super yachts so he joined SUNRAYS as his first vessel and he loves it!

Rreze grew up in a small town in Sweden but moved abroad at a young age, living in France, Turkey, and Dubai. She has been in the hospitality industry since the age of 15, working in restaurants, as an air hostess, and now on superyachts. Rreze started as a lead service stewardess and got promoted to chief stewardess onboard SUNRAYS. Colleagues describe her as caring, fun, and hardworking. Outside of work, Rreze loves staying active and has a passion for architecture and art.

Jack grew up in Airdrie, 20 minutes east of Glasgow in Scotland. Jack started his career at sea when he was 20 years old as a cadet, working with Royal Caribbean. After completing his cadetship, he worked for Princess Cruises for over a year as a 3rd Engineer before moving into the yachting industry. Jack spent 3 years on a private 119m vessel starting out as 3rd Engineer and was then promoted to 2nd Engineer. In Jack's downtime he enjoys playing golf and watching the football. He is a big supporter for one of the local teams back in his hometown, Motherwell Football Club.

Stephanie is an experienced superyacht hairdresser from South Africa, skilled in a wide range of styles and techniques to ensure guests always look and feel their best. Known for her infectious energy and upbeat personality, she creates a positive atmosphere wherever she goes. Her dedication to excellence and attention to detail make her a trusted professional in the industry. Stephanie also has a love for the outdoors and animals, and she especially enjoys combining the two while walking her dog.

Chandre was brought up throughout Africa, namely in Ghana and Kenya, and has been in the hospitality industry for 12 years. She has had the privilege of working in safari lodges, beach lodges, as well as superyachts. She is best described as friendly and caring. She is an absolute animal lover and enjoys Formula 1. Chandre spends her quality time with her pets as well as with loved ones.

Iona is from a small village in Scotland where she grew up around farms and animals most of her life. Once graduating she took a year to travel Southeast Asia and made Bali her home for 2 years. Iona is family orientated and loves to spend time on her brothers farm with the dogs. When on dry land she enjoys running (not very fast) and finding restaurants hidden gems. She also has a soft spot for reality television. Iona best describes herself as bubbly, positive and
a supportive friend.

Gede is originally from Bali, Indonesia, and began his career in the hospitality industry on cruise ships in 2005. Since then, he has built extensive experience working in high-standard, fast-paced environments, both at sea and on board yachts. He has over five years of experience specializing as a Laundry Master, where attention to detail, efficiency, and garment care are essential. Gede is
known among colleagues as dependable, calm, and easy to work with, always maintaining a professional attitude. In his spare time, he enjoys staying active and exploring new destinations whenever possible.
