Paul is from Hull, a fishing town in the north east England where as a young man, he was a metal fabricator, making mobile homes. He moved to France 11 years ago, with his family, in the search of a new life and better opportunities. Paul started working on super yachts, as an engineer, and for the last 10 years, has been based in the Mediterranean.He loves family time with his wife and two boys, fishing, camping and diving. He holds a professional dive master’s and specialist dive cards qualifications.Paul is passionate about motorbikes, working on his own superbike in any spare moments.

Matt's journey to becoming a yacht chef began around the fire of a traditional South African braai, where his passion for cooking was first ignited. Inspired by the vibrant flavors, shared stories, and sense of togetherness food could create, he set out to turn that passion into a career. After completing several professional culinary courses, he honed his skills in kitchens on land, combining classical training with a love for fresh & bold flavors. With a strong desire to combine his love of food with a life on water, he set his eyes on yachting.

Originally from the UK but raised in Southern Africa, he’s spent much of his life surrounded by nature and the outdoors. Over the years, he’s also called Bali and Australia home—places that have shaped his love for the sun and an active lifestyle. Starting his adult life as a fashion photographer, he’s worked with international brands and built a creative career that took him around the world.
Now, he’s looking for a new chapter—something more hands-on, team-focused, and one that he can still bring his previous skills to. The yachting industry felt like a natural fit. He’s always loved being on the water, whether it’s wakeboarding, jet skiing or swimming. He’s also passionate about motorsports, often out on his dirt bike when he’s not near the ocean.

He enjoys a good laugh, is hardworking, and doesn’t shy away from learning and building his skills and knowledge wherever he can.

Before joining the industry, Emma built a solid foundation in hospitality, where her natural flair for service and guest care truly shone. Alongside this, her passion for wine grew into a professional pursuit. She holds WSET Level 3 and is a French Wine Scholar.

Whether curating a wine pairing for a guest dinner or ensuring smooth day-to-day operations onboard, Emma brings attention to detail, warmth, and a genuine love for creating memorable experiences.

After starting his career in a traditional office environment, Juan decided to follow his heart and pursue a life at sea. A passionate waterman, he has a deep love for fishing, diving, and all kinds of watersports, which he enthusiastically shares with guests of all ages and experience levels.
With over four years in the yachting industry, Juan is known for his positive attitude, strong work ethic, and dedication to creating unforgettable experiences for every guest. Whether he’s guiding an afternoon of watersports, helping guests reel in the catch of the day, or assisting with seamless deck operations, he’s always ready with a smile and a helping hand.

Outside of work, Hannah is an avid runner, enjoys staying fit at the gym, and loves dancing and playing the piano. She brings a vibrant, positive energy to the Taiba crew and is always ready to contribute to a great atmosphere onboard.

Hendrik hails from a farm near Zastron, a small town in South Africa’s Free State, where wide-open spaces and farm life shaped his early years. Growing up, he picked up a tennis racket at age six and hasn’t put it down since, thriving on the thrill of any racket sport. Off the court, he's often immersed in video games, crafting poetry, shooting videos, or snapping photos. Before stepping into the world of yachting, Hendrik wore many hats... Assistant farm manager, chef, and copywriter, each role honing a unique skill set but none tied to the water, save for some playful watersports on a local dam. Drawn to yachting by a deep conviction that it’s his true calling, Hendrik embraced the industry with passion and purpose, ready to carve out a new chapter on the seas.

Having grown up near the river in England and spending countless hours exploring the Solent, his love for yachting was established early and has only grown stronger over time.
Outside of yachting, Ollie is an avid rugby player and a regular on the golf course and tennis court. His sporting background has instilled a strong sense of discipline, resilience, and teamwork.
