Born on the remote and picturesque island of Lastovo in Croatia, Ivan grew up surrounded by the sea, an environment that naturally steered him towards a life on the water. After graduating from Maritime High School, he began his career in the Croatian Navy, where nine years of service gave him a strong foundation in navigation, discipline, and seamanship. His transition into yachting in 2015 was driven by a lifelong passion for the ocean and the opportunity to combine his technical expertise with guest-facing service. He went on to work on several well-regarded yachts prior to joining the TE MANU crew.
After two years on board as Chief Officer under the mentorship of Captain Oscar, Ivan has earned the respect and trust of both crew and guests through his calm leadership and hands-on approach. As Captain, he brings extensive experience in navigation, safety management, and deck operations, alongside a genuine enthusiasm for ensuring guests enjoy the very best experience at sea. Off duty, he admits he is happiest outdoors and can often be found fishing or taking part in Big Game competitions. As a Chief Officer, Marijan comes with a wealth of additional skills which he happily applies to his role. Born in Serbia and raised in Croatia where he studied culinary skills and worked for four years as a sous chef in a fine dining restaurant. Thereafter, he began studying to become a certified bartender with the Croatian Bartender Association. He was also certified as a sommelier by Cordon Bleu college in Miami, which became extremely beneficial to him, as he started running bars and eventually transferred to the cruise ship industry. In 2013, he moved to yachting and has since then accomplished a Chief Mate 3000GT license and a recreational diver endorsement. In his free time, he enjoys spending time on the beach playing volleyball, reading, as well as trading stocks and options. Being a highly experienced crew member, he will be very happy to assist you with watersports and beach activities. Likewise, he would love to share his wine experience and help to compare wine and food onboard. He spends his spare time with his young family.

Georgia's route into yachting is a little different from most as she holds a Bachelor of Science degree with majors in Genetics and Human Anatomy & Physiology and initially envisioned a career in the sciences. However, a lifelong love of the ocean, travel and the outdoors eventually proved too strong to ignore, drawing her towards a career that combines adventure, people and life at sea.
Before entering yachting, Georgia spent time working at a luxury lodge in the remote wilderness of Patagonia, where no two days were ever the same. From housekeeping and guest service to provisioning and event support, she developed the adaptable, hands-on approach that serves her so well onboard today. After building experience through a variety of yachts during her first Mediterranean season, she quickly discovered she thrives in this fast-paced and ever-changing world. Georgia approaches every task with enthusiasm and a can-do attitude. Away from work, you'll usually find her hiking, snorkelling, surfing or planning her next adventure, always eager to explore somewhere new.
