Captain Remzi brings a steady hand and a warm, approachable leadership style to his role as Captain of THE LANGLEY. Having grown up around boats and gone on to command yachts across the Med and beyond, Remzi blends his technical knowledge with a genuine love for being on the water. With a career spanning over two decades in the maritime industry, he has steadily progressed from Bosun to Captain across a range of private and charter yachts. He joined THE LANGLEY during her extensive refit and has overseen her transformation from the ground up—managing contractors, sea trials, and every detail to ensure she’s charter-ready in every way.
With years of experience running busy private and charter vessels, Remzi knows how to set the tone onboard—calm, professional, and always focused on the guest experience. Whether he’s at the helm during a smooth coastal cruise or coordinating the crew for a flawless day on the water, guests can expect thoughtful service and memorable moments. Off duty, Remzi enjoys fishing, sailing, and water sports – passions that naturally complement his life at sea and enrich the experience for guests on board.

Remzi Yorulmaz

Abuzer hails from Turkey and brings with him a robust background in maritime engineering. With over a decade of experience in the yachting industry, he has developed a strong reputation for technical proficiency, meticulous attention to detail, and dedication to operational excellence. Before joining the superyacht sector, Abuzer built his engineering expertise working on commercial vessels, which laid a strong foundation for his transition into yachting. Since entering the industry, he has worked on a diverse range of motor yachts from 35m to 67 m, handling everything from major engine overhauls to daily operations with confidence and skill.
Abuzer is a family man and is particularly valued for his calm reliability, and ability to resolve complex technical issues efficiently. he has developed a strong reputation for maintaining high standards in deck presentation, tender handling, and water sports coordination.
He is particularly skilled with guest-focused activities, including the setup and supervision of jetskis, Seabobs, and the chase boat. Murat’s approachable manner, technical competence, and enthusiasm for the water contribute positively to guest enjoyment and the overall charter experience.

Born and raised in the coastal region of Muğla, Turkey, Serdar began his professional career in 2000. With over two decades of culinary experience, his journey has taken him from well-regarded Turkish restaurants to luxury yachts, where he has consistently delivered refined cuisine to high-end guests and private clients. He formally joined the yachting industry in 2006, bringing his strong work ethic, creativity, and solid skill base. Since then, he has continued to develop his repertoire and is well-versed in a variety of global cuisines. Since 2020 he has primary worked on yachts in the US and Europe since 2020 and seamlessly combines cuisines from his native Turkey with Italian, Japanese, and Chinese, and is committed to continuous innovation in his cooking. His fine dining experience has honed his attention to detail and adaptability.
Serdar is passionate about a healthy lifestyle and the role of food in personal wellbeing. He is versatile and happy to tailor the menus to any dietary requirements. When not in the galley, he enjoys documentaries, music, and films - interests that reflect his quiet, amiable personality and his curiosity for exploring other cultures and storytelling.

Meet Lee, our talented and enthusiastic Bosun. Though relatively new to yachting, having joined in 2022, Lee brings years of diverse experience and an unbeatable can-do attitude. Always ready for a new challenge, he never shies away from any task and tackles everything with a smile. As a child, Lee earned the nickname "MacGyver" after crafting an umbrella from a screwdriver – a testament to his resourcefulness and creativity. Jokes aside, he’s a master craftsman, always bringing valuable skills and tools to the table, literally!
Growing up in the south of the UK, Lee developed a love for fishing, water sports, and enjoying fish 'n' chips on a Sunday! His favourite holiday destination is Tenerife, where he loves to unwind and soak up the sun. Lee’s enthusiasm and willingness to lend a hand make him an invaluable member of our crew. Whether it’s handling the yacht, assisting guests, or simply sharing a laugh, Lee’s energy and expertise ensure a fantastic experience for everyone on board.

Lee Buckland

Olena comes from Odessa, Ukraine and prior to joining the yachting industry, she trained as a veterinary doctor. In 2012, she decided to pursue a new career in the maritime industry and now, 14 years later she has now worked on some of the most prestigious cruise liners and luxury yachts around the world. Olena has built her career around creating welcoming, beautifully run interiors while maintaining exceptionally high housekeeping and service standards. Friendly, positive, and naturally creative, Olena especially enjoys table décor and floral arrangements, helping create a warm and elegant atmosphere on board.
Having worked extensively on charter yachts, she understands the importance of seamless teamwork and anticipatory service, always striving to ensure guests feel relaxed and well cared for throughout their time on board. Outside of work, she enjoys staying active, exploring new cities and cultures, and hiking as well as reading and learning new languages.

Born in Norwich, UK, Megan holds both South African and British passports, bringing a versatile and international edge to her yachting career. With a background in luxury event styling and healthcare, she offers a strong foundation in guest care, organisation, and adaptability. Her experience during the pandemic enhanced her resilience, while her creative flair from the events world continues to shine through in her table settings, floral arrangements, and interior presentation.
Since entering yachting, Megan has proven herself across a range of roles, where highlights include an Atlantic crossing and supporting service at the Miami Boat Show. She is known for her attention to detail, creativity in table presentation, and calm demeanour in high-pressure situations. Megan always has a ready smile and is a great asset to the interior team. With a keen interest in photography, watersports, and the arts, you will find her enthusiastic and dedicated to creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests.

Megan Esterhuizen

Originally from South Africa, Nikita joins THE LANGLEY with a strong background in high-net-worth private households, luxury hospitality, and water safety. With experience ranging from private household assistance in New York to founding and managing her own premium house-sitting business, she has developed a highly adaptable and guest-focused approach. Her background has given her excellent skills in housekeeping, laundry care, provisioning, childcare, table settings, and attentive day-to-day guest support.
Nikita also brings extensive experience on the water, having worked for several years as a rescue RIB skipper and senior lifeguard in luxury hospitality environments. Friendly, proactive, and energetic, she enjoys creating a welcoming atmosphere while maintaining high standards. Outside of yachting, Nikita has a passion for wellness and the outdoors. She enjoys sailing, hiking, camping, yoga, and weightlifting. Guests appreciate her warm, genuine personality, strong work ethic, and natural enthusiasm for being part of the team.

Nikita Miller

Barbaros is an experienced maritime professional with over 16 years in the industry. He has built a career founded on reliability, technical expertise, and strong leadership at sea. Having risen through the ranks from deckhand to First Mate and Acting Captain, Barbaros brings a wealth of hands-on knowledge across both sailing and motor yachts in private and charter settings. Most recently serving as Chief Officer on M/S MEIRA (55m), he led an 11-strong crew and assumed command as Acting Captain during various passages, demonstrating sound judgement and operational foresight.
Guests can rely on Barbaros for seamless deck operations and professional support throughout their stay. His ability to remain composed in all situations, along with his collaborative leadership style, contributes to a safe and welcoming onboard environment. In any spare time, you will find him fishing, swimming, or cycling.
