He has cruised extensively throughout the Mediterranean, with in-depth knowledge of Italy, Sardinia, Corsica, the Amalfi Coast, Greece, Turkey, and the Balearic Islands. His expertise includes navigation, passage planning, yacht maneuvering with bow thrusters, night navigation, charter operations, crew management, and vessel maintenance. He also possesses strong technical skills in engine room operations and an excellent knowledge of AIS, RADAR, ARPA, and GMDSS systems.
In addition to his command experience, Manuel has supervised new yacht construction projects, most recently serving as Surveyor for a Mangusta 104 during the 2025 season. Graduated from Politecnico di Torino, he has advanced knowledge of mechanical and propulsion systems, including thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, internal combustion engines, hybrid and electrical power units.
