Born in Aubagne, between Marseille and Toulon, Captain Renaud developed a deep connection to the sea from an early age, spending countless hours boating, fishing, and spearfishing along the Mediterranean coast.
A certified diving instructor (PADI and French qualifications), he traveled the world for seven years, sharing his passion for the ocean while gaining extensive international maritime experience. With over 12 years of professional sailing, Renaud has navigated waters across France, Australia, Mexico, the Dominican Republic, Thailand, the Philippines, New Zealand, and the Canary Islands.
This season marks his fourth year as Captain of M/Y UPSTREAM, where he leads the crew with professionalism, precision, and a strong sense of hospitality. His in-depth knowledge of protected marine areas—including the Marseille National Park, the French Riviera, Corsica, and the Pelagos Sanctuary near Porquerolles—allows guests to enjoy exceptional cruising and cetacean observation experiences.
An all-around sports enthusiast, Renaud enjoys running and martial arts in his free time.

Michael has always been drawn to the sea, building solid experience in navigation, yacht maintenance, and high-end charter operations. Holding certifications as a Captain 200 and Engineer 750 kW, he combines strong technical expertise with a disciplined, hands-on approach on board.
A former high-level rowing coach, Michael brings a strong sense of teamwork, precision, and athletic spirit to the crew. Enthusiastic and dynamic, he takes great pleasure in introducing guests to a variety of water activities, including wakeboarding, eFoil, and Seabob. Whether assisting on deck or creating memorable moments on the water, Michael ensures that every experience on board is both safe and unforgettable.

An accomplished and service-driven Chief Stewardess, Delphine brings strong interior standards, natural leadership, and a calm, hands-on approach to life on board. Her experience on a wide range of yachts up to 45 meters, including positions with full responsibility for guest areas and daily onboard organization, has shaped a professional who is structured, discreet, and consistently “guest-ready.”
With a background in high-end hospitality and team coordination, Delphine is highly detail-oriented, efficient, and attentive, while maintaining a warm and confident presence with both guests and crew. Safety-conscious and well trained, she is adaptable, proactive, and driven by excellence—focused on delivering seamless service and a refined, perfectly managed interior for owners and charter guests alike.

Géraldine brings over 20 years of culinary experience, ranging from Michelin-starred restaurants to luxury yachts and private villas. As Head Chef on board, she creates refined, flavorful cuisine tailored to each guest’s preferences, ensuring a truly personalized dining experience.
Her expertise spans Mediterranean, French, and international gastronomy, with a strong background in fine dining and high-end event catering. Passionate about her craft, Géraldine blends creativity with precision, delivering dishes that are as visually elegant as they are memorable in taste.
Warm, attentive, and highly professional, she takes great care in anticipating guests’ expectations, ensuring that every meal on board is a highlight of the journey.

Océane will be joining the UPSTREAM team for her third season on board. Passionate about the yachting environment, she holds a CFBS certification, a Coastal Skipper License, and a personal onboard CQP, providing her with a solid foundation in both safety and service.
Smiling, discreet, and naturally attentive, Océane brings a positive and jovial presence on board. With her excellent knowledge of the yacht and strong team spirit, she is dedicated to ensuring guests feel comfortable, well cared for, and at ease throughout their stay.
She looks forward to welcoming guests on board and attending to every detail to make their experience smooth and enjoyable.
