Storm grew up in Johannesburg but spent many of his family holidays sailing around the island of Madagascar which he believes fuelled the kickstart of his passion for a career at sea. After leaving school, Storm moved to Fort Lauderdale to begin his career in the yachting industry. Since then, he has worked on a variety of yachts and travelled around the world, stretching from the East Coast of the USA to the Mediterranean & then onto the South China Sea gaining valuable experience along the way. He is happiest when taking part in watersports activities with friends, snowboarding with his family & trying to get the catch on the day on a fishing trip.

Alan was born in Rijeka, Croatia on the beautiful coast of Adriatic Sea. Since his childhood, being at sea is his passion & after graduating Marine Engineering he started his seagoing career. Alan started his career on commercial cargo vessel and then worked for 12 years on Cruise Ships. Alan holds Chief Engineer unlimited Certificate of Competence and has been working for 8 years in Yachting on various Charter vessels. Alan lives by his positive attitude & will always do his best to exceed guest expectations while ensuring the sage & reliable operation of the yacht.

Alan Grahovac

Born in the historic town of Zadar on the coast of Croatia, Jure was
both a student and an athlete before deciding to leave the boxing
ring to fully pursue a career in maritime engineering. Along the
way, he worked various seasonal and off-season jobs, acquiring
a broad range of skills. His first experience as an engineer on a 38-
meter yacht in Italy opened the door to further opportunities in the
yachting industry. Since then, Jure has worked on various yachts in
the role of Second Engineer. He now holds a Master’s degree in
maritime engineering and continues to grow professionally in the
field.

Lia Perks is from Plettenberg Bay, South Africa and has a passion for water sports, travel and an active lifestyle. She has competed in CrossFit and weightlifting at a high level. She discovered an interest in the yachting world, which then inspired her to also become a masseuse, an extra feather to the cap. Working onboard allows her to take her skills to a new level & she is always pushing herself to new limits. Whether in the gym, out on the water, or exploring new destinations, Lia embraces new challenges and adventures with enthusiasm.

Barbara, coming from Australia & having a European family background, spent many holidays in Europe with her family, which captured her passion for travel. She worked in fine dining restaurants in Melbourne, Australia & is now bringing her knowledge and experiences to yachting. Barbara has worked as a charter chef for many years, tailoring menus to guests’ tastes. When not on board, she is a keen gardener and an enthusiast horse rider.

Martin brings over four years of culinary experience across a diverse range of restaurant environments — from Michelin-starred establishments to family-friendly gastropubs. In the past year, Martin has transitioned into the yachting industry, working first as a Crew Chef on a 60-metre vessel and then as 3rd Chef on a 77-metre yacht. This move has allowed him to further develop his adaptability and creativity in compact, fast-paced environments. Outside the kitchen, Martin is an avid traveller with a passion for discovering global cuisines. He also enjoys football and fishing whenever time allows.
