Corina joined VAUBAN in October 2024. She began her career in the yachting industry in 2014 as a Stewardess. With a keen eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and exceptional organisational skills, Corina has a solid background in hospitality. Her expertise includes excellent Silver Service, housekeeping, knowledge of caviar and cigars, flower arrangements, and table settings. She has a huge passion for cooking, speaks five languages, and possesses a good understanding of wine. This combination allows her to provide guests with an exceptional experience characterised by attentive service and high standards.
In her free time, Corina enjoys exploring cities, art, museums, culinary arts, local cuisine, pastries, and wine. Always cheerful and approachable, she takes pride in delivering excellent service and is dedicated to making your stay on board both exclusive and unforgettable.

Lauren is a Stewardess with a strong hospitality background and a natural passion for guest service. Growing up around hotels sparked her interest from an early age, leading her to Munich, where she completed a three-year vocational program in hotel and catering management. She later moved to Vienna, where much of her career has been shaped, while also gaining valuable experience in England, Mallorca, Germany, and Austria. With experience in banquets and reception, Lauren brings warmth, organisation and professionalism to life onboard. Outside of work, she enjoys long walks, nature, discovering new places, time with her favourite people, and good food. She feels privileged to be part of the team and looks forward to welcoming guests aboard.

Born and raised in the Netherlands, Marlies transformed an early passion for travel and sailing into a distinguished yachting career spanning more than two decades. Her experience stretches across the Mediterranean, Caribbean, Svalbard, Greenland, Arctic Canada and the U.S., complemented by multiple Atlantic crossings that reflect her confidence and capability at sea. What truly sets Marlies apart is her calm presence and natural ability to make guests feel completely at ease. She leads with confidence, warmth and professionalism, ensuring every charter aboard VAUBAN feels seamless and thoughtfully tailored. From discovering picturesque anchorages to orchestrating special moments on board, she works closely with her crew to deliver experiences that are both relaxed and exceptional. Fluent in English and Dutch, and conversational in German and Italian, she connects easily with an international clientele.

Marlies Sanders
Captain
Captain Anthony O’Shann joins VAUBAN as Rotational Captain with more than two decades of command experience on private and charter yachts up to 60m. Having led multiple successful Mediterranean and Caribbean charter programmes, he understands precisely what guests expect: seamless organisation, itineraries and a calm, confident presence on the bridge. With extensive cruising experience throughout Italy, France, Sardinia, Spain, Greece and Turkey, he brings very valuable regional knowledge and the ability to shape rewarding, well-paced experiences tailored to each charter.
Originally trained on the engineering side before progressing to senior command, Anthony combines technical assurance with polished leadership. Outside of yachting, he has a strong background in music, having studied orchestral performance and conducted chamber ensembles, as well as carpentry and hiking.

Julian started baking at 10 and studied culinary arts from 15. His global experience shapes his Mediterranean fusion style, combining tradition with innovation. Passionate about molecular gastronomy, he creates bold, surprising dishes.
With yacht and restaurant experience, he brings creativity and precision to every galley.
In his spare time, he enjoys playing drums, likes music and football, and going out.

Mark is a dedicated Mate with strong experience in the yachting industry and a genuine passion for life at sea. He brings a calm, capable presence onboard, with a clear focus on safety, teamwork, smooth operations, and creating a positive environment for both guests and crew. A proud family man, Mark is deeply motivated by his wife and three children — two boys and a girl. Away from work, he enjoys spending quality time with them, whether travelling, being outdoors, or making the most of simple family moments. Active by nature, Mark has a strong love for water sports and team sports, especially basketball and volleyball. His energy, work ethic, and positive attitude make him a valued team player, while his willingness to keep learning and growing reflects his commitment to both his professional and personal life.

Hailing from Scotland, Morgan brings an exceptional blend of energy, elite maritime training, and high-volume hospitality to the crew. A graduate of the UKSA Superyacht Cadetship with an RYA/MCA Yachtmaster Offshore qualification, she handling, and deck maintenance. Her versatile experience spans dual deck/stew roles on busy day-charter yachts to three years managing fast-paced hospitality teams. These roles have honed her ability to stay perfectly calm under pressure while delivering a seamless, premium guest experience. Driven by a lifelong passion for the outdoors, Morgan spent 15 years in the Scouting movement, progressing into leadership roles where she taught survival skills and led swift-water possesses strong skills in passage planning, powerboat handling, and deck maintenance. Her versatile experience spans dual deck/stew roles on busy day-charter yachts to three years managing fast-paced hospitality teams. These roles have honed her ability to stay perfectly calm under pressure while delivering a seamless, premium guest experience. Oleksandr was born in Kyiv, Ukraine. He graduated from Kyiv State College of Water Transport with a Junior Specialist degree, followed by a Bachelor’s degree in Service from the State University of Infrastructure and Technologies. As a Engineer in the yacht industry since 2009, Oleksandr is known for his commitment to ensuring the smooth operation of onboard systems while maintaining the highest safety standards. In addition to his technical skills, Oleksandr values teamwork and collaboration, believing that a strong team dynamic is essential for success in the marine industry.
Beyond his professional life, Oleksandr enjoys skiing, which allows him to connect with nature and stay active. He also has a passion for learning new things, especially in the field of computer science, where he explores innovative technologies that can enhance his engineering work. Outside of work, he enjoys sharing his knowledge and experiences with others, fostering a sense of community and collaboration.
