Born and raised in Cannes, Reginald started sailing with his family at a very young age. He quickly learned to love the sea and started working full time at the age of 19 on a sailboat as a second captain for 2 years. This gave him the opportunity to sail and race around the Mediterranean and fall in love with working on boats. He went on to work on several different yachts and even worked as a Second Engineer on a 170 ft Feadship. That opportunity taught him the true meaning of teamwork and the mechanic side of a yacht, both of which help him every day on his duty as a Captain. During his 20 plus year career on yachts he has completed multiple transatlantic crossings, charter seasons in the Mediterranean, Caribbean, Bahamas, and Florida, and worked his way up to becoming a Captain. At the age of 26, Reginald became Captain on an 80 ft charter yacht in Antibes and traveled around the Mediterranean on board for 4 years. In the time since, Reginald has worked as a Captain on several other vessels before eventually becoming Captain of Veni Vidi Vici. When he is not on board, he lives with his wife and two kids in Cannes.

Shelby was born in the state of Texas, but grew up accustomed to a nomadic lifestyle. Her parents enjoyed exploring new places and moved the family around the U.S. to states including Texas, Virginia, New York and Ohio. It wasn’t until her family moved over seas when she was 15 years old to Dubai, UAE where she first got a taste of travel and became hooked. Attending high school in the Middle East opened her eyes to international living and introduced her to people all around the world, including people in the yachting industry.
After completing a degree in Communications at University in Texas, Shelby helped her family open an Italian restaurant/wine bar in Houston, Texas where she worked (and still works at when she goes home) for a few years before moving to Florida to break into the yachting industry. She has completed many busy charter seasons in both the Mediterranean and the Caribbean/Bahamas. The excitement that comes from meeting new people, exploring exotic destinations and doing it all by boat inspires Shelby everyday!
Her passion for hospitality and love for people motivates her to provide the best experience for every guest who steps on board Veni Vidi Vici. Outside of yachting, she has been practicing Yoga and Pilates for almost 7 years now and recently became a 200 hr certified Yoga Teacher in the beautiful island of Bali, Indonesia.
