About VERTIGE
VERTIGE, the 49.90m motor yacht built in 2017 by the Italian Shipyard Tankoa Yachts.
The “Best Interior 38m-50” award winner during the World Yacht Trophies 2017 meanwhile is a highly reputated charter yacht of her own class.
The Italian designer Francesco Paszkowski was responsible for her exceptional exterior features as well as for her amazing interior layout and fulfilled the owner’s expectation to have “a permanent visual contact with the ocean”.
The exterior is characterized by the yacht’s floor-to-ceiling main deck and sky lounge windows, her two retractable balconies in the master suite, a 3m long, retractable terrace in the aft and her beach club. VERTIGE’s amazing interior in natural and bleached teak and dark polished rosewood boasts a warm colour and texture scheme, creating a calm atmosphere and sophisticated style.
VERTIGE comfortably sleeps up to 12 guests in 6 staterooms including a master suite with two private balconies, a generous walk-in closet, his- and hers en suite facilities and a very own lounging space. A VIP stateroom, three double cabins and one twin cabin, which easily converts into a further double and adding the accommodation up to in total six doubles, all with en suite facilities, complete her sleeping arrangements. Throughout the yacht, you will find artwork from range of traditions – from African-inspired statues to remarkable modern photography pieces, lining the walls and corridors like a floating gallery.
Her various outdoor features are in every aspect a charter guest’s paradise: VERTIGE’S aft cockpit lounge on the upper deck offers shade, but also sun-exposed sections to enjoy refreshments from the adjacent bar. It is the ‘place to be’ for al fresco dining with a table seating 14 guests during family dinners and friend’s invitations. On the sundeck spacious sunbathing areas, a shaded lounge and a jacuzzi for 7 allow to cool off in true style, taking a drink from yet another bar.
VERTIGE not only offers space for recreation and relaxing but also stores a large variety of water toys and gym equipment – the beach club, with swimming platform to dive into the water, can be transformed into an impressive gym to make the stay onboard a pleasure for all sport enthusiasts.

An essential support to Captain Filippo, Chief Officer Yohann has been on board since 2017. Brittany born, with a passion for the sea and strong of his small passenger ship background at the beginning of his career, he happily joined the yachting industry. He has gained extensive yachting experience by working on several yachts throughout the Mediterranean & Caribbean Seas and gradually climbing the ranks from deckhand to Captain. Yohann is very organised, efficient, professional but always available for a friendly chat with guests. With safety in mind, he is the first one to help with fun in the
water with the various water toys.

Maria assumes the responsibilities of her housekeeping, laundry and service tasks very acutely, looking after the guests and crew to the best of her abilities. Keen to please, she is always the first to offer a helping hand, achieving her duties with attention and care for details. Maria has strong training having worked on board M/Y KINDA and M/Y SARASTAR, two very demanding vessels.

Ergys has already been a very busy candidate despite his age, having picked up experience on some of the most well known yachts in the industry such as ISTRANKA, BOADICEA, LUNA, working under some brilliant captains showing him the ropes. Professional Experience I
After having sailed the world with the Italian Merchant Navy for 5 years, Filippo entered the yachting industry and joined M/Y RAMSES in 1997. From there he gradually built up his experience on board yachts such as M/Y SUD and M/Y FREEMONT, of which he stayed on board for 10 years, 8 as Captain. He led his crew to winning two years running the very sought-after Fraser Yacht prize of “best charter crew”. In need of a new challenge, he joined M/Y OUT for three seasons, building up her charter reputation. Filippo then wished to experience another destination and joined M/Y MAGENTA M in Greece for 6 very busy charter years. Filippo is a very jovial person, always ready to amuse his clients. He has a great charter track record and really enjoys it. He will go over and above to make sure clients on board VERTIGE have an amazing holiday. He speaks Italian, French, and English, but if he still can’t be understood he will use the typical Italian hand language!

Keen to offer VERTIGE guests five-star service so that they will never forget their holiday on board, she is very organised and her service always immaculate. She has worked with Captain Filippo on multiple yachts, he knows he can count on her to make sure everything is perfect were service and care is concerned.

Nicola studied at the Technical Nautical Institute of Viareggio in Italy and began his career in the merchant navy but was attracted to the yachting industry and has been Chief Engineer on board superyachts including M/Y VERTIGE’s sister, and 60-meter M/Y SARASTAR. Nicola is passionate about his duties at sea, he always has safety in mind and makes sure that everything on board works perfectly in the background. He is always happy to come out of the engine room to meet guests, so do stop him for a chat and appreciate his charismatic personality.

Before embarking on her career, Anna earned a bachelor's degree in Tourism Management and Communication. Her early experience in customer-facing roles, including working as a client advisor at a luxury boutique in Dubai, fuelled her passion for delivering exceptional service. In 2022, Anna combined her love of travel and customer care by joining the yachting industry.
Since then, she has gained valuable experience working aboard a variety of yachts, ranging from the 27m WILLFUL, where she excelled as a sole stewardess, to the 49m R23, where she thrived as a second stewardess. Known for her positive and calm demeanour, meticulous attention to detail, and dedication to creating a welcoming atmosphere, Anna ensures guests enjoy an unforgettable experience onboard VERTIGE.
Outside of her professional life, Anna enjoys staying active with fitness, exploring new destinations, and pursuing her interests in fashion and photography.

Originally from the island of Ischia, Camillo is a highly trained creative Chef with already twenty years’ experience working under pressure in luxury hotels and establishments with European exposure. He has worked in a selection of Michelin 1- star, Michelin 2-star and awarded “Relais & Chateaux” before joining the yachting industry on board M/Y VERTIGE. He is fully dedicated to exceeding clients’ expectations, their special requests and diets. His culinary repertoire is generous and exciting, ranging from Mediterranean, Asian, Vegetarian, Vegan, French, Health Conscious but also some lovely treats with deserts, pastries and homemade bakery. Chef Camillo is very motivated and will make sure you are always happy at the table on board M/Y VERTIGE, from breakfast through to dinner.

Alberto is an experienced Italian Bosun with more than a decade in the yachting industry, working on private motor yachts up to 60 meters. He has extensive expertise in deck operations, team leadership, tender driving, crane operations, navigational watchkeeping, and vessel maintenance. Known for his strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail, Alberto has successfully managed deck teams, supported shipyard and refit projects, and operated across the Mediterranean, including Greece, Turkey, Croatia, Sardinia, Corsica, and the South of France. He holds a RYA Yachtmaster Offshore certification, MCA GMDSS GOC, and is currently progressing toward his Officer of the Watch (OOW) qualification

Tarin Kalyvaki is a motivated and hardworking Bosun/Lead Deckhand with five years of experience on private and charter yachts up to 50m. Holding a Yachtmaster Offshore certification, she has developed strong skills in deck operations, tender driving, watchkeeping, maintenance, anchoring, docking, and crew leadership. Known for her professionalism, adaptability, and positive attitude, Tarin thrives in fast-paced environments and is committed to continuous growth within the yachting industry.
