Benedetto has been working in the yachting industry since 1999, after attending the Nautical School and completing his military service in the navy. With extensive experience on yachts, he began his career as a deckhand and later advanced to Captain. He has also worked as an Engineer, being employed on both pleasure and charter motor yachts, as well as on commercial ferries.
From 2005 to 2012 he worked on M/Y Whynot, M/Y Sexteen, and M/Y Marta. From 2013 to 2017, he was employed on M/Y Blue East as Chief Officer and Relief Captain, where he was responsible for ship handling, bridge management, itinerary planning, crew coordination, training, and recruitment.
Despite having no prior charter experience, Benedetto accepted the challenge and joined Vervece in 2019. With his determination, precision, and eagerness to learn and grow professionally, he has built an excellent reputation in the international charter market, earning outstanding feedback and references. He is always ready to meet his guests’ needs and has an in-depth knowledge of the Mediterranean.
In his spare time, Benedetto enjoys staying active, whether riding his motorbike or sea fishing.

Born in 1974 in the charming town of Terracina, by Rome, Paolo brings a wealth of experience and a passion for the culinary arts. His journey began over two decades ago, blending his technical expertise gained from a Diploma in Business Studies with a fervent love for cooking.
With a nautical license for both sail and motor vessels obtained in 2006, Paolo has served on various yachts. Starting as a deckhand, he eventually transitioned to the role of chef, consistently showcasing his versatility and commitment to excellence in all aspects of yacht service.
His extensive training in maritime safety, survival, firefighting, and first aid ensures that guests are always in safe hands, both in the galley and on deck. As a yacht chef, Paolo excels in combining fresh, local ingredients with innovative techniques to create unforgettable dining experiences. Whether preparing a simple, elegant dish or a lavish feast, Paolo’s culinary creations reflect his deep appreciation for the sea and his Italian heritage.

Paolo Di Massimo

Born in Pozzuoli, near Naples, Valerio carries the rich heritage of Italy’s maritime culture. He studied at the Nautical Technical Institute and holds a 1st category navigation license issued in Naples.
Valerio has more than four years of solid experience as a Deck Officer on large cruise ships sailing the Caribbean, Pacific, Mediterranean, and Australian waters. He has served on vessels up to 305 meters, working with top companies like Carnival.
His duties covered voyage planning, watchkeeping, ECDIS and paper chart navigation, radar and ARPA operations, bridge resource management, ship handling, mooring, anchoring, dry dock supervision, cargo and ballast operations, port activities, and team leadership on deck and bridge.
Valerio is trained and certified in STCW Basic Training, Advanced Firefighting, First Aid, Medical Care, GMDSS, ECDIS, Crisis Management, and more. He always keeps safety, clear communication, and teamwork at the center of his work.
Calm under pressure, reliable, and respectful of his crew, Valerio now aims to bring his strong navigation and safety background into the yacht industry.
He is Italian and speaks English well.

Alena is dedicated and passionate about the sea, always committed to delivering excellent service while maintaining safety and comfort onboard. She thrives in team environments, valuing clear communication and cooperation to ensure smooth daily operations and a positive atmosphere for both guests and crew.

Born in 2002 in Milazzo, Andrea Mirabito is a dedicated seaman with solid experience at sea and a deep connection to his maritime roots. After studying Nautical Sciences at I.T.E.T. Leonardo Da Vinci, he gained two years of hands-on experience as a deck officer in the Italian Navy, where he developed strong technical and teamwork skills.
Andrea is known for his precision, quick learning, and commitment to maintaining vessels to the highest standard. His professional path includes roles as Deck Cadet with Elbana di Navigazione, further proving his reliability and attention to detail on board.
