Joergen comes on board with more than 17 years of experience in the yachting industry and knows exactly how to meet the high standards expected on board a superyacht. He gained his first valuable boat handling experience with a variety of passenger vessels working on the river Thames in London, before skippering his first yacht in 2008. Moving onto 56m Perini Navi sailing yachts, where he gained valuable racing experience. The following years saw him progress through the ranks to become Chief Officer on yachts, before achieving his goal of becoming Captain. Joergen has extensive navigational experience, having sailed the Mediterranean, Indian & Atlantic Oceans, Pacific Ocean, Baltic, Bahamas and the Caribbean as well as achieving his aviation pilot’s license.
Joergen brings a range of skills to M/Y VICKY. He enjoys sailing, diving, movie making & film industry, Aviation, as well as AV/IT knowledge.

Etienne brings warmth, charm and a genuine passion for service to every guest experience. With over 10 years combined experience in the hospitality, aviation and yachting industries, he’s honed his skills in both private and charter settings – including as Lead Service aboard the 106m S/Y Black Pearl and Chief Steward aboard the 50m M/Y Eternal Spark. Etienne is known for going the extra mile to ensure guests feel completely at ease, often anticipating their needs before they even ask. Whether he’s crafting a delicious cocktail, setting a beautiful table, or delivering seamless service, Etienne’s attention to detail shines through. He’s excited to welcome guests onboard M/Y Vicky and is dedicated to creating unforgettable moments that make their holiday truly special.

Born in England in 2003, Louise has recently joined M/Y Vicky
and is looking forward to welcoming guests onboard. With a
strong background in luxury hospitality and experience working at international events, she brings a strong foundation in guest service and attention to detail. As a stewardess with a true
passion for the yachting and service industries, she is
enthusiastic to incorporate her skills and expertise into all areas of the interior operations onboard and growing within the
industry. Louise is known for her warm, positive energy, creating a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere for both guests and crew. She takes great pride in delivering high standards while
maintaining a friendly and approachable presence. In her freetime, Louise enjoys hiking, swimming and spending quality time with friends, bringing that same vibrant energy to everything she does.

Originally from Northern Sweden, Tekla grew up surrounded by nature, spending her free time skiing and horseback riding. With two seasons of yachting experience, she brings a strong hospitality background, excellent attention to detail and a consistently positive approach to her role. Skilled in housekeeping, laundry and guest service, Tekla is enthusiastic, hardworking and dedicated to creating a warm, organised and welcoming atmosphere onboard M/Y Vicky.

Francois was raised in the picturesque South Africa, spending his early years in Cape Town before relocating to Pretoria, where he completed his schooling, university studies and postgraduate
degree. After gaining initial experience in the corporate world, he chose to pursue a more dynamic and hands-on career at sea,
transitioning into the yachting industry where he has now built over a decade of experience.
Throughout his career, Francois has worked aboard a variety of vessels, cruising extensively across the Mediterranean—including Croatia, Venice and Montenegro—completing multiple Atlantic crossings and exploring more remote destinations such as Alaska and Canada. Naturally drawn to the ocean, Francois has developed strong proficiency in water
sports, with interests in kitesurfing and diving. His passion for adventure extends beyond his
professional life; during his time off, he enjoys touring by motorbike, playing golf and embarking on bush expeditions.
With a wealth of global cruising experience and a genuine enthusiasm for the outdoors, Francois brings a well-rounded, adventurous spirit and a strong work ethic to any crew environment.

Kilian was born and raised in South Africa, where he developed a strong early interest in engineering. This passion led him to pursue a qualification in Mechanical Engineering, which later evolved into a focused career in Marine Engineering driven by his affinity for the ocean.
He has accumulated extensive experience within both the
commercial maritime and yachting industries, working across a range of engineering environments and developing a strong, practical technical skill set. Known for his methodical and
solution-oriented approach, DeWet is persistent in resolving technical challenges and is committed to achieving effective, reliable outcomes in demanding operational conditions.
Alongside his professional expertise, DeWet maintains a strong interest in emerging automotive
engine technologies and enjoys continuous learning within the engineering field. Outside of work, he is an avid chess player and takes every opportunity to pursue his interests in scuba diving and
freediving, reflecting his long-standing connection to the ocean.

Kilian de Wet

Professional Experience:With two successful seasons in the yachting industry, Joshua brings a well-rounded foundation of deck experience combined with a strong focus on delivering seamless luxury charter operations. His first season aboard M/Y November Rain included a highly rewarding Mediterranean program as well as an Atlantic crossing from Gibraltar to Panama, providing extensive exposure to long-range passages, diverse cruising grounds and the demands of guest-focused yachting. In his second season, he served as sole deckhand aboard M/Y Gatto, operating throughout Spain, Malta, and Greece. This role refined his technical deck skills and strengthened his ability to work independently while maintaining the highest standards of presentation, safety and operational efficiency. During this time, he also achieved his Yachtmaster Offshore 200T certification, further reinforcing his professional development.
Originating from Cape Town, his early connection to the ocean has shaped a natural passion for the maritime lifestyle. He is personable, professional and guest-focused, with a calm and composed
approach under pressure. Known for his strong work ethic and positive attitude, he takes great pride in contributing to an exceptional onboard experience while ensuring guests feel welcomed, safe and well cared for throughout their time on board.

Joshua Smith

Chef Sergio has over 14 years of experience and creativity in the culinary arts. At the age of 28, he became one of the youngest Executive Chefs at “Paper-moon Doha,” the best Italian restaurant in Qatar, which is run by the W Hotel. One of his greatest achievements is working with the Italian Embassy to promote Italian culture and gastronomy. Under his leadership, the restaurant was recognized as the best Italian restaurant in Qatar and received a “Gold Q” of excellence from the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Qatar. Following that, he worked with the San Luis opening team in Italy, which was run by one Michelin star Chef. He worked in the Hilton Kitzbuhel as part of the pre-opening team in Austria before moving to the south of Germany to work in a three Michelin star restaurant.
He has overseen the culinary operations of two restaurants: one on Cayman Islands and one of the most exclusive restaurants in Porto Cervo. Additionally, He has worked with Crystal Cruises.

Sergio Dobrodii

Following Roland’s education in a Technical Work-Study program specialising in Diesel, he went on to an apprenticeship in Engine mechanics, at MTU Corp. Friedrichshafen, Germany. Roland has been fully engaged as Chief Engineer over the years in building and commissioning new builds with a hands-on engineering approach on board. Roland has extensively sailed the North-West Passage, Galapagos Islands, Japan, the South Pacific, Central and South America, North America and the Mediterranean on board Yachts of varying pedigrees and size up to 95m.
Roland’s favourite past times include riding and restoring old motorcycles along with spending time solving unique engineering challenges that come his way.

Gustaf is a positive, driven and service-oriented 21-year-old who naturally creates a welcoming and professional atmosphere wherever he goes. With a calm and composed presence, he combines high energy with attentiveness, ensuring that those around him feel comfortable, valued and well cared for. His strong interpersonal skills allow him to connect with guests and crew alike, contributing to a harmonious onboard environment. Originally from Sweden, Gustaf has a deep appreciation for travel and cultural exploration. Growing up on one of Sweden’s many islands has given him a natural connection to the sea, which continues to influence both his personal and professional path. As one of the deckhands on M/Y Vicky, Gustaf has dedicated himself to developing strong seamanship skills, teamwork and delivering exceptional service. He takes pride in anticipating guests’ needs and executing every task with precision and care, always aiming to create a seamless and memorable onboard experience.
