Joergen comes on board with more than 17 years of experience in the yachting industry and knows exactly how to meet the high standards expected on board a superyacht. He gained his first valuable boat handling experience driving a variety of passenger vessels ranging from 7 – 32m on the River Thames & skippering his first yacht in 2008, moving to the 56m Perini Navi sailing vessels, where he desired to get onboard a large sailing vessel & valuable racing experiences. The following years saw him progress slowly through the ranks of the yachting to becomes chief officer on motor yachts ranging from 52 – 74m. Before eventually achieving his goal of becoming a Captain.
Joergen has gained extensive navigational experience, having sailed the Mediterranean, Indian & Atlantic oceans, Pacific Ocean, Baltic, Bahamas and the Caribbean as well as achieving his aviation pilots license.

Henry hails from the Isle of Wight, UK, and has spent much of his life on the water, wakeboarding and surfing from a young age. After high school, he pursued his passion for the ocean by completing yachting courses, quickly finding his true calling. With a lifelong love for sailing and a strong interest in engines and boat operations, Henry has built a career that blends his skills and passions.
An avid outdoor enthusiast, Henry also has a love for mountain biking and strives to share his passion for water sports with guests, ensuring they have as much fun on the water as he does. Whether on land or sea, he is always eager to explore new adventures and create unforgettable experiences.

Kevin is a 31-year-old chef from Germany with a passion for great food, adventure, and sunshine. Raised in a small village along the scenic Mosel River, surrounded by vineyards and nature, Kevin took a different path than the one set by his family’s wine business—wine just wasn’t his thing, and neither was staying in one place.
At 20, Kevin made the leap to Berlin, chasing new experiences and bigger dreams. He kickstarted his culinary journey at the Marriott Hotel, where he spent five transformative years honing his craft and learning the ins and outs of kitchen life.
In 2021, Kevin’s world opened up in a whole new way when he landed a position as a chef aboard a 60-meter sailing yacht. Since then, he’s been combining his love for cooking with his love for travel, working in beautiful, sun-drenched locations around the globe.
Off the boat, Kevin is all about music, nature, and good vibes. He enjoys dancing to techno, exploring the outdoors, and soaking up life by the sea. His ultimate dream? To own a beachside home surrounded by coconut trees, where he can relax between adventures.

Claudio grew up near Naples, Italy, and holds a Masters Degree in Law. He has extensive hospitality and customer service experience and has worked at several esteemed Michelin Star restaurants and high calibre establishments. Claudio is a dedicated true professional with a passion for customer service, a strong eye for detail and he understands how to provide the ultimate in onboard tailored service perfection. As a professional in his field, Claudio comes with knowledge such as silver, plated and butler service; wine knowledge amongst other skills. He has taken to yachting industry very quickly and has a promising career ahead of him.
Claudio loves to get creative and make signature cocktails, stunning flower displays and unique table settings. He has a keen interest in wine knowledge and enjoys pairing great suggestions to the incredible food served onboard.
His hobbies include reading, fashion, outdoor sports, politics, and a love of music and theatre. Claudio has a wonderful sense of humour and a relaxed nature, he looks forward to putting you at ease and understanding your every need.

Roland began his career with a technical work-study program in diesel mechanics, followed by an engine mechanic apprenticeship at MTU Corp. in Friedrichshafen, Germany. Since then, he has built a hands-on career as a Chief Engineer, including the commissioning of new builds and working aboard yachts up to 95 meters.
His work has taken him across the globe, including the North-West Passage, Galapagos Islands, Japan, the South Pacific, and the Americas.
Off the water, Roland enjoys restoring vintage motorcycles and tackling unique engineering challenges—always bringing a practical, solution-driven mindset to everything he does.

Born in Split, Croatia, and now living in Kaštel Novi with his wife and son, Teo has spent the last 20 years immersed in the maritime industry. With a decade of experience on cargo ships followed by another ten years aboard yachts, he brings a wealth of knowledge, reliability, and a deep respect for life at sea.
Outside of his professional career, Teo is passionate about fishing—especially catching cuttlefish and squid whenever possible. He’s also an avid hunter and finds great joy in spending time in nature. A skilled home cook, he enjoys preparing fresh seafood and traditional Croatian dishes for friends and family.
In addition, Teo is actively involved in olive growing, maintaining a strong connection to the land and local traditions. Whether at sea or on shore, his life is deeply rooted in the outdoors, and he values every opportunity to live in harmony with nature.

Originally from the stunning Cape Town, South Africa, Matthew brings a wealth of energy, experience, and good vibes to VICKY. His journey has taken him from catamaran deliveries across the Indian Ocean to managing a lively bar in London—he’s no stranger to adventure and knows how to create a great atmosphere.
Matthew’s yachting career began with long-haul sails between Cape Town and the Seychelles, where he developed a deep love for the ocean and life at sea. As Bosun, he’s now back on VICKY, ready to keep both the deck and crew running smoothly with his positive attitude and strong leadership.
With a Bachelor of Commerce in Strategic Management, Matthew combines practicality with ambition, currently working towards his Dive Master certification and Officer’s courses. He’s happiest in, on, or under the water, and when not diving, you’ll find him hiking, exploring the outdoors, or reminiscing about his seven years playing club hockey.
Friendly, upbeat, and always up for a laugh, Matthew is dedicated to creating a fun, relaxed vibe on board and ensuring your time on VICKY is unforgettable.

Growing up by the sea in the coastal town of Whitley Bay, Newcastle, Jake was always drawn to the ocean. Even during his school years, he knew a life at sea was his calling. He pursued maritime training at the prestigious Warsash Maritime Academy, spending three years earning his Officer of the Watch Unlimited certification.
Jake began his career on cruise ships, sailing across the globe for three incredible years—from the icy waters of Greenland to the remote shores of Papua New Guinea. In 2020, he transitioned into the yachting industry, where he continues to thrive. That same year, he earned his Chief Mate Unlimited qualification, a significant achievement reflecting his dedication and expertise.
When he's not at sea, Jake enjoys quality time with family and friends back home in Newcastle. A lifelong football enthusiast, he played for many years until a knee injury sidelined him from the pitch. These days, he stays active by hitting the gym, playing padel, and enjoying the adrenaline rush of white-water kayaking.
Jake brings a wealth of experience, a calm presence, and a true love for the sea to every journey he embarks on.
Jake Cavagin
First Officer
Originally from Swansea, South Wales, Lewys began his maritime journey after serving as head boy at his local comprehensive school. He went on to study at Fleetwood Nautical College, graduating in 2019 as an Engineering Officer of the Watch (EOOW).
Lewys launched his career aboard deep-sea Ro/Ro vessels, transporting military equipment—including tanks, helicopters, and ammunition—on global missions chartered by the UK Ministry of Defence. Most recently, he worked as a sole engineer on offshore wind farm vessels with a small crew in the northeast of Scotland, honing his skills in remote and demanding environments.
When back home, Lewys treasures time with his son, Isaac. They enjoy swimming—whether in the sea or at the local pool—and cheering for Swansea City FC. He recently bought a touring caravan and is looking forward to exploring the Welsh countryside and coastline with Isaac, creating new memories on land to balance his time at sea.

Luca is from Bath, UK, where his love for the water began at a young age, thanks to his father introducing him to sailing at their local sailing club. He spent plenty of time in Cornwall, paddle-boarding, attempting to surf, and soaking up the coastal lifestyle, deepening his connection to the water.
After sailing in Mallorca and even trying Hobie Cats on Lake Geneva, Luca knew he wanted to pursue a career at sea. Working on yachts allows him to combine his love for being active, working outdoors, and being part of a close-knit crew. Outside of work, he enjoys hitting the gym, playing tennis, and mountain biking, always seeking the next adventure.
