Prior to transitioning into yachting, Mario built extensive experience in hospitality, working for several years in fast-paced restaurants and as a rental representative at Split Airport. These roles have given him excellent communication, problem-solving, and guest service abilities — all of which translate perfectly to the demands of a busy charter yacht. Hardworking, quick to learn, and highly motivated, Mario takes pride in delivering top-level deck maintenance, tender driving, water sports setup, and guest support. He is also detail-oriented and professional in the interior when needed, with strong teamwork and adaptability. A qualified Master of Yachts 200t (Limited), with additional certifications including AEC 1, Efficient Deckhand, Superyacht Tender Operator, and RYA PWC Instructor, James brings a valuable blend of seamanship, technical ability, and calm professionalism to every program. James has worked on a variety of high-profile private and charter yachts including M/Y Jack’s Sin (34m), M/Y Alicia (49m), and M/Y Alaska (44m), performing a wide range of duties from mooring operations and chase boat driving to engine room maintenance and tender management. Known for his meticulous attention to detail, he is just as comfortable performing a hull polish as he is replacing fuel filters or managing guest transfers on a VanDutch 40. He thrives in busy, guest-facing environments, supports interior and galley teams when needed, and has extensive experience with water sports setup and safety, having volunteered for years with the National Sea Rescue Institute in South Africa. With over seven years of yachting experience, Chief Engineer Zvonimir brings a strong background in both superyachts and large cargo ships to the engineering department. He is highly experienced in the maintenance of main and auxiliary engines, electrical systems, and hydraulics, and is a specialist in AV/IT systems. Zvonimir has served as Chief Engineer on M/Y Heed, M/Y Mosaique, M/Y Flying Fish, M/Y Stern, and M/Y Liberty, ranging from 35m to 52m. His expertise includes managing major overhauls and completing ten-year surveys on vessels up to 50 meters. He is also a project manager on new builds and refits, with experience in engine room layout, system diagrams, and swapping propulsion systems. Known for his fast skills in maintenance and emergency operations, Zvonimir is also a proficient communicator who willingly accepts new challenges and adapts easily to changing environments. He is a proven team player with a strong work ethic and a focus on process improvements and operational support.

Captain Sami Parviainen is a seasoned maritime professional with over 15 years of experience, including more than a decade in command roles aboard luxury private and charter yachts. He has captained several prestigious vessels, most notably the 47m Benetti M/Y Africa I, a high-volume dual-season charter yacht operating in the Mediterranean and Caribbean. Sami’s career includes leadership roles on M/Y Katariina (Ferretti 880) and several other vessels ranging from 28 to 50 meters, as well as valuable engineering and deck experience earlier in his career. He also served as Fleet Manager , gaining broad expertise in yacht operations, refits, and commercial management. Calm, professional, and highly guest-oriented, Sami ensures every charter runs smoothly — whether navigating complex cruising grounds, managing crew operations, or coordinating with the interior team. Fluent in English and Finnish and conversational in several other languages, Captain Sami creates a welcoming and safe onboard environment that allows guests to relax and enjoy the very best of life at sea.

Chief Officer Charles Paillot is a highly adaptable and experienced maritime officer with a diverse background across commercial shipping, offshore support vessels, and large private and charter yachts. With over a decade of seagoing experience—including senior roles aboard yachts up to 71 meters—Charles brings technical expertise, operational precision, and a calm, solutions-driven attitude to every mission. Most recently, Charles served as Chief Officer on M/Y KOLAHA (63m ISA), a private yacht with an extensive Mediterranean itinerary. In this leadership role, he oversaw safety management, bridge operations, deck maintenance, and crew training, while also supporting the captain with ISM compliance and logistical planning across multiple shipyard periods and guest programs. He has also held key roles aboard the explorer vessel M/Y ENIGMA XK (71m) and the Feadship charter yacht M/Y GENESIA (49m), where his command experience was further honed.An accomplished tender driver with strong watersports skills, Charles leads by example, mentoring junior crew and ensuring high standards of guest service and vessel upkeep. Before entering the yachting industry, Charlie gained valuable experience in hospitality across Australia and Switzerland — working as a bartender, kitchenhand, and allrounder in high-pressure environments.
