Fabrizio is a sailor in the truest sense of the word. Born and shaped by a life at sea, he brings decades of hands-on experience to every passage — an Italian mariner whose love for the ocean is as evident in the way he reads the wind as it is in the warmth with which he welcomes guests on board.
His relationship with W is something beyond professional. He speaks of her with genuine admiration — her rare combination of exceptional comfort and impressive speed, her responsiveness under sail, her character. It is the enthusiasm of someone who has found, in a particular yacht, a perfect match for his own sailing philosophy.
On deck, Fabrizio leads with quiet authority. His technical knowledge is deep, his regatta experience sharp, and his seamanship instinctive. Guests sense this immediately — not through formality, but through the easy confidence of a captain who knows exactly what he is doing and has nothing to prove. The atmosphere on board remains relaxed and personal, never rigid, yet always in the most capable of hands.
Discreet, attentive and genuinely passionate, Fabrizio defines what a high-end charter experience should feel like: the freedom to enjoy every moment at sea, knowing that everything — from the set of the sails to the safety of the passage — is being managed with complete mastery.

Fabrizio Bartoli
Captain
Luis is the kind of crew member whose presence is felt from the moment guests step on board. Energetic, warm and instinctively guest-focused, he brings a natural ease to deck life that makes everything feel effortless — even when it isn't.
His background spans yachting, watersports and kitesurfing, giving him both the practical skills and the active spirit that complement a charter experience on W perfectly. Whether handling lines with precision, rigging equipment for a day on the water or getting guests set up for a kitesurfing session, Luis approaches every task with the same enthusiasm and can-do attitude.
What truly sets him apart is his disposition. For Luis, finding a solution is simply the only option — he stays positive, adapts quickly and makes things happen with a smile. Guests respond to this immediately, and it is no surprise that he tends to be universally loved on board.
Reliable, flexible and genuinely dedicated, Luis adds both real capability and real warmth to the team — the kind of deckhand who quietly elevates the whole charter experience.

Deckhand
Chef George brings over two decades of international culinary experience to the table, with a career shaped by more than ten years in Michelin-starred kitchens and award-winning luxury hotels before he made the move to private superyacht service. Recognised early on as Apprentice Chef of the Year during his training, he has spent his career honing a style defined by creativity, precision, and a genuine passion for sourcing the very best fresh ingredients available, always favouring from-scratch cooking over shortcuts.
George's cuisine sits firmly in the realm of refined fine dining, but what really sets him apart is how personal he makes the experience. He doesn't work from a fixed menu; instead, he builds each meal around the guests in front of him, taking into account individual tastes, dietary needs, and the natural rhythm of life on board, whether that means an elaborate sunset dinner after a day of diving or something lighter and quicker between excursions.
On board, George brings a calm, discreet presence that charter guests and crew alike appreciate. He's exceptionally organised in the galley, which shows in both the consistency of his service and the polish of his plating. Guests routinely come away from their time with George remembering not just the food, but the whole dining experience he created around it.

Accommodations
Built in 2023 by German shipyard YYachts to their acclaimed Y8 model, sailing yacht W is a 24-metre performance sloop that sets a new benchmark for luxury sailing in the Western Mediterranean. With exterior lines by Luca Brenta & Co and interiors by British studio Design Unlimited, she is as visually striking as she is technically impressive — a yacht designed to be sailed hard and lived in beautifully.Under sail, W's performance speaks for itself: speeds of 9–12 knots or more, with twin 115hp engines for reliable passage-making in any conditions. Her lifting keel adds a further dimension to the charter experience, allowing W to access the shallow coves and hidden anchorages — spots that remain simply out of reach for most sailing yachts of her size. Whether tucked into a secret inlet or anchored steps from a beach, guests enjoy a level of access and privacy that few yachts can match.W's bespoke solar hardtop is one of her most distinctive features, combining elegant aesthetics with a genuine commitment to sustainability and onboard comfort. Below, her interior reflects a bold, contemporary sensibility: an open-plan saloon flooded with natural light through multiple skylights, sculpted soft furnishings, curated artwork and a professional galley that sets the tone for exceptional onboard dining. She accommodates up to 8 guests overnight across 4 en-suite double cabins, each finished to a hotel-inspired standard with rain shower heads and warm ambient lighting. A dedicated crew of captain, deckhand and chef ensures every aspect of the charter is seamlessly managed — led on the culinary side by Chef George, who brings over 20 years of international experience, including more than a decade in Michelin-starred kitchens and award-winning luxury hotels. His refined, highly personalised approach means every menu on board is built around each guest's tastes, dietary needs and the rhythm of the day, delivered with the calm, discreet precision that has made his dining experiences consistently memorable. On deck, W is built around the sailing experience. Her spacious cockpit serves as the social heart of the yacht, with generous seating and a large convertible dining table — ideal for long lunches, sundowners or starlit dinners at anchor, where Chef George's cuisine truly comes to life. Forward, wide bow areas invite guests to stretch out and take in the views of Mallorca, Ibiza, Formentera and beyond. For those who want more than sailing, W carries an impressive roster of water toys — Seabob, wakeboard, two SUPs, snorkelling gear, inflatable water toys and a Williams Jet Tender 395 for exploring the coastline at will.W is based in Club de Mar (Palma de Mallorca) and available throughout the Balearics, France and Italy.
