Benjamin comes from five generations of chefs, and cooking has been at the heart of his life from an early age. His cuisine blends French and Italian traditions with carefully selected ingredients and a creative touch.
With over eighteen years’ experience on luxury yachts, Benjamin has worked across the Caribbean, Mediterranean, and North Sea, mastering the art of yacht galleys and delivering personalised, memorable dining for guests and crew alike. He has been recognised internationally, winning competitions such as the Mediterranean Food Competition and 1st Monaco Superyacht Chef 2025.
Benjamin believes that great food is part of an unforgettable journey, and he works closely with the interior team to ensure every meal is seamless, inspired, and a true highlight of the charter experience.

Philip (Blurge) has gained over twenty years of experience travelling the world by sea. Having grown up in North-West England, it was clear from an early age that sport and adventure was in his blood. After graduating college, Blurge qualified as an instructor at Tower Wood Outdoor Education centre where he taught children and adult watersports. His love for adventure led him to travel around Australia and New Zealand before joining the yachting industry. His experience has taken him all over the world to some very special remote places that only vessels can take you to.
Blurge and his family relocated to Mallorca in 2014 after having spent fourteen years in South Florida and extensively cruising the Caribbean, Bahamas, East Coast and into the Great Lakes. When not on board, you will often find Blurge road biking and trail running around the beautiful Spanish islands. He proudly entered the Mallorca 312km road bike ride and trail ran the 160km Cami de Cavalls around Menorca.
As captain of XWAVE and responsible for the management, safety and wellbeing of the ship, and everybody on board, Blurge takes pride in customising all trips to maximise the charter experience for the guests.
