Jakub has always dreamed of living and working on the ocean. He is a reliable, hardworking and easy-going person, with over 20 years’ experience working as a chef. Working in various establishments all around the world, Jakub has enlarged his cooking repertoire thanks to the countries he has visited and is very comfortable preparing mediterranean, fusion dishes, but also traditional British, Norwegian, Thai and Italian just to name a few. He is also fully trained to prepare delicious gluten free bakery. He is keen to look after charterers on board YCM120 and show them how the best ingredients of the area can be made very delicious. In his spare time, Jakub likes to travel the world in quest of new cooking ideas to take back on board with him.

With a degree in Electrical Mechanical Engineering and 12 years experience in the yachting industry, Enoc makes sure that everything runs smoothly on board YMC120. Passionate about his work, he can obviously most often be found in the engine room, but loves to come out to help with water toys and for a chat with guests on board.

With a bright personality and a meticulous eye for detail, Anya brings both heart and skill to every guest experience. A South African native, she holds a strong background in luxury service across both private and charter yachts. Her recent roles on M/Y Semper Memento Vivere and M/Y Obseso saw her excelling as a Sole Stew/Deck/cook, managing everything from elegant table service and guest turn-downs to provisioning and tender operations. She is also confident on deck, assisting with docking, anchoring, and watersports setup. Always proactive and adaptable, she prides herself on delivering seamless experiences with a calm, guest-focused approach that enhances every charter.

Ange (Anya) Kleynhans

Jose is a dynamic and versatile Chief Mate and Engineer with a robust background in navigation, engineering systems, and deck operations. Originally from Venezuela and fluent in both English and Spanish, he combines strong technical expertise with a can-do attitude and a calm, professional demeanor. Most recently serving as Mate/Engineer aboard M/Y Praying for Overtime II, Jose led deck operations and maintained onboard systems including generators, engines, and sewage systems. With prior roles ranging from Deckhand-Engineer to Chief Officer on commercial and private vessels, he brings extensive experience in watchkeeping, mooring, and vessel upkeep. He’s known for being hands-on, reliable, and always ready to go the extra mile to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.

Captain Lorenzo Pasquale is a highly accomplished and versatile yacht captain with a wealth of experience navigating the globe’s cruising grounds. Italian-born and fluent in English, Lorenzo has helmed both sail and motor yachts, with a career that spans the Mediterranean, Caribbean, and U.S. East Coast. His extensive sea time includes charter and private programs aboard busy program vessels delivering top-tier guest experiences and managing skilled, motivated crews.
With a background in performance racing and a meticulous eye for maintenance and safety, Lorenzo combines technical expertise with a calm, client-focused leadership style. Whether orchestrating charters, Lorenzo brings precision, warmth, and a deep passion for the sea to every voyage.
