Plus Expenses Charter:
A plus expenses charter means the base price covers the yacht and crew, but additional costs (fuel, food, drinks, mooring fees, etc.) are billed separately. These expenses are in addition to the charter fee include VAT tax, which varies by country. And Advanced Provisioning Allowance (APA) which is an upfront payment, usually around 20-40% of the charter fee, to cover additional expenses (fuel, food, drinks, dockage, etc.). At the end of the charter, any unused APA is refunded, and any additional expenses beyond the APA are charged to the charterer.
