Apollo 99 | 78 Ft.
Our time upon Apollo 99 has been marked with ultimate relaxation, splendid service, and lots of fun! The vessel itself is gorgeous and an experience within itself to sail upon, but it is the enthusiastic, dedicated, and super kind-hearted crew who made our trip so special.
Spain FAQs
What is included in the charter fee and what are the other expenses I can expect to pay?
All charters in Europe and the Mediteranean are the base charter rate that you see online plus expenses.
What are expenses? While the base price covers the yacht and crew, additional costs such as fuel, food, drinks, mooring fees, port taxes, and communications are billed separately in the form of APA. The APA is a pre-paid amount, typically 20-40% of the charter fee depending on the boat and its used to cover variable expenses such as fuel, food, drinks, and port fees. At the end of the charter, any unused APA is refunded, and any excess expenses are charged to the charterer. Additionally, VAT tax is added to the charter fee and the VAT in Spain is 20%.
Additionally crew gratuity is customarily 10-15% of the base charter fee (APA/VAT excluded).
Can I customize my charter itinerary in the Balearics?
Yes, the Balearics offer a wide range of sailing routes, from the lively island of Ibiza to the quieter, picturesque spots on Mallorca and Menorca. You will work directly with your captain to design an itinerary that aligns with your interests and desired experiences. Whether you want to explore hidden beaches or visit charming coastal towns, your itinerary can be tailored accordingly.
What activities can I enjoy during my yacht charter in the Balearics?
The Balearics provide endless opportunities for fun and relaxation, including swimming, snorkeling, diving, fishing, and exploring charming villages and historical sites. Many yachts come equipped with water sports gear, and your crew will be happy to help organize excursions, whether it’s a hike on the islands or a visit to local markets.
