What is included in the charter fee? What is the difference between All-Inclusive vs Plus Expenses?
All-Inclusive Charter: Includes yacht rental, crew, meals, drinks, fuel, water sports, and some amenities. Gratuity is typically not included. Plus Expenses Charter: Covers yacht and crew, but additional costs like fuel, food, drinks, mooring fees, and VAT are billed separately. An Advanced Provisioning Allowance (APA), usually 20-40% of the charter fee, is paid upfront to cover these expenses. Unused APA is refunded, and excess costs are charged to the charterer.Additionally crew gratuity is customarily 15-20% of the base charter fee (APA/VAT excluded).
